Probably a good time to get Wanyama back in, maybe swap both the full backs, other than that not a lot changes from midweek I doubt.

Son will be fine I reckon, Dier will probs be out. Not sure about Dele.

Aurier, Rose, Wanyama and possibly Lamela in. I'm glad we're playing on Sunday because emotionally one day extra rest will make a massive difference. Also, watching Premiership football on the Saturday should get the players minds refocused on domestic football.

Oh I forgot about Moura, surely he has to be starting soon. No point him leaving PSGs bench just to sit on the Tottenham one. He surely has to have been at the club long enough now to be up to speed.

Yea I think probably just Dier will be out. I definitely would like Moura to start though.

Think poch has said he’s up to speed in a fitness way but still has to learn how we play out of possession.

Well he won`t learn that sitting on the bench, if he is fit, get him on the pitch.

Who would you drop though? You love Alli, Son is in great form and Eriksen has to start.

For me i would make a few changes, but keep the strong core of the team. Wanyama after Dier's knock should get a game, Moura deserves some starts.

My team (12.06, 09/03/2018) would be:

Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Vertonghen Rose
Wanyama Dembele
Moura Eriksen Son
Kane

Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Dier(if fit), Lamela, Dele, Sissoko/Llorente

I think what Weds proved is that Poch is too loyal to that first 11.. Especially the front 6. This isn't a "hammer Poch" post but we have spent the last 2 years complaining about Squad depth and now we have it we are not making the best of it. Lets be honest this is now our 3rd season of being on the Up & up but there's still nothing to show for it. I think he's much too loyal to Dele and Dier both of who'm haven't exactly set the world on fire and Son despite the goals scored can be incredibly wasteful. Don't get me wrong I love all 3 but with Dele & Dier in particular I think theres an element of both being played because we are sensitive of upsetting them and we get back into the old "wages/ winning things/ bigger club speculation again. Poch needs to show all of them its a squad game and its our strength of squad that will help us move forward and win things. The reactionary/ too late subs on weds night were a reflection of this..... Wanyama to start, Moura to start either instead of Son or Dele (yes I know about Son's goals & Dele's assists (personally I've seen more things I dislike about Dele's game than I actually like (Loses possession too much, too many flicks & too much poncing around looking for trouble) I'm tired of hearing that our first 11 is as good anyone's... Its BS. esp when the other members of the squad never get minutes and always look rusty when they are flung on to save a game......Its a squad game. Unless this is addressed we will up 4th (at best), no trophy (praying for a FA Cup) with best players underpaid vs our peers & round & round we go. Based on what we have seen of late, Moura has to start, if that's in place of Dele or Son... so be it

Moura was signed for next season, I remember a Poch interview on the matter. With Levy's transfer strategy and the World Cup disrupting pre-season, Poch knew that signing him in the summer wouldn't get him up to speed in time for the new season.

This season is about him training with the team, learning Poch's tactics and getting the odd cameo here and there. But for injury crises I highly doubt he will be starting this season. Lamela and Son are currently both ahead of him in the pecking order for that final position in the XI. Good option off the bench though, and hopefully he will be a key player next year.

TEAM NEWS: @AlderweireldTob (hamstring) is in the early stages of integrating in parts of First Team training.

TEAM NEWS: @ericdier (elbow) sustained an injury during our game against Juventus and is undergoing assessment to determine his availability for Sunday.

Good opportunity for Wanyama to get a run in the team and show us what he can do.

Moura Magic, I would start Moura this Sunday no doubt and also Wanyama. Both need a game.

Sorry Mate... Not buying that..... Man City can buy players for next season, not us. We have been crying out for someone like him all season... Pace, trickery, big game experience. I'm all for Poch being loyal to his guys (with good reason) but not to the point where it starts to hurt the team. I thought we looked tired, esp second half on Weds. No disgrace in losing to Juve but we could/ should have gone through. I don't wanna hear about a post CL hangover on Sunday if we don't get a +ive result

I think he is right, Moura can help us this season but his signing was more long term as Poch demands players to have to prove themselves considerably before they get a game.
