I think the media are going to be rather upset.

First their beloved Tottenham are out the Champions League and Liverpool didn't destroy the anti-football team is Manchester United.

The truth is that United aren't as bad as had been made out and Liverpool aren't as good.

United played well first half today and kept Liverpool at arm's length for the second. DDG had one of his easier games in truth.

United are the best of the rest but need to do a lot to overtake City next season. These kind of results should help though.

The Spurs board is refreshingly Mouser free this afternoon, it`s a shame they don`t lose to United more often.

I am surprised no one has mentioned the fact that the game was decided by two local lads

Tbf, it's not only the easy start we had.

I've noticed quite often throughout the season we've played and beat teams that were worse than us, that has also helped us.

Well I thought Chelsea were done out of a draw by the officials. Today you were the better team in attack, despite barely having the ball. You made it count and despite the stats, you deserved the win. I've nothing to say, you were the better team on the day.
