I think enjoy would be taking it a bit too far. I don't enjoy City playing well and winning.
What I can do though is admire the way they're playing and the results they are getting. As Benji mentioned above I suppose you can 'enjoy' Liverpool more because there is an air of vulnerability about them that you don't see with City (unless they are playing Liverpool!) often.
I don't enjoy it because I usually want them to lose games but my natural reaction to any good football is to be impressed, even in games against United.
I think you can always appreciate great football without necessarily enjoying it.
With the tribal element of football it gives you a greater sense of achievement when your club do something and that's where the enjoyment comes from. I guess when it's 2 teams I have no real care on the score I just want to be entertained as I have no emotional attachment on the outcome.
Can't help but acknowledge they play good football... That de bruyne is world class... But enjoy it?
No
Ive enjoyed watching them this season but I didn't particularly enjoy watching Barca at their peak and City may well go that way.
Obviously I respect it but the trouble with possession football is that it's not end to end and that's when football is at its best for me.
Can’t say I really watch them unless it’s a big game

Not really. They play very good possession football but i now find many of their games pretty dull due to two reasons
1. They are all about keeping the ball and they do it brilliantly
2. Opposition seem to give them far too much resoect now to the point they are putting everyone behind the ball.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dull indeed. How terrible it is to be
1. dominant and
2. strike fear into your opponent.
Solid points to not like their style of football...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
its pretty obvious what hes saying
because theyre so dominant you know the oppo have just decided theyve lost prior to playing and the recent games have been pretty dull.
liverpool are far more bang for your buck because theyve just got that disaster in them and you know its coming at any point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So it's City's fault that teams park the boss? There will always be a few boring matches. You have to look at City's philosophy, their style of play which is an attacking one. Their intent is not boring.
One of my guilty as precious as a football fan was watching Pep's Barça demolish us 5-0.
It was a bit of an ordeal up to the third goal, but thereon in I just relaxed and completely enjoyed the spectacle.
As a bonus, I watched it with a Barça fan, and my own enjoyment somehow defused his enthusiasm for the match, as he realized there was no point in trying to take the p*ss.
“Enjoy” is a bit much but I don’t mind tuning into a City game because you’ll see some great players playing some lovely football.
I did let out a small, unexpected clap and a “ohhh, well played” after Bernardo Silva’s goal against Arsenal at The Emirates recently though, the ball retention and weaving run by Sane was a throwback to Giggsy in his early 20s and the finish was delightful too.

Some interesting responses for this, especially the 3x1 stars clearly showing that even mentioning city is a sin.
I don't get that in honesty. If you enjoy football, surely you can enjoy watching any team?

I enjoy s*x, but I wouldn't want to watch another fella f*ck my wife...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfair on your wife though, cos Mourinho's football is a bit like her having make do with a microp*nis.

Touched a nerve with your beloved city?
No one is blaming city for teams parking the bus. The point was the games they’ve been involved in are dull to watch, doesn’t matter who’s fault, and as such they’ve not been enjoyable to watch.
No. I only enjoy watching City when they lose. Which they don't do that often anymore

City games dull to watch?! What a load of bitter sh-t
The only game I have watched City other than against us was agianst the Dips at Anfiled.
And I only watched that because it was peeing down with rain and couldn't play golf.
I would find it rather depressing watching a team that are playing much better stuff than us.

They are excellent to watch. Can’t say I enjoy it, though.
Let's be honest, City haven't been as great as the media and the Pepsters would have you believe.
When the second placed club in the league has managed to draw against the likes of Stoke City, Leicester City, Burnley and Southampton and lost against strugglers Huddersfield and Newcastle then you don't have to be any thing special. That said every team we face seems to play more expansive and entertaining football than Mourinho's Utd.
They’ve won 26 games out of 30. This City team clearly are pretty special.

The chasing pack are poor, I repeat, City didn't have to be special.
But they are special. Have you watched them play?
United could end the season with 89 points, that would be enough to have won the league 8 out of the last 10 seasons! Even if our football has been poor we are very likely to amass a points total that very few second place clubs have in recent years. Yet City are still 16 points ahead of us, of course what they’ve done this season is special.
You seem to think dropping points to lesser teams is completely unheard of, it happens all the time.
