No you are certainly not the only one, I work at a school and it's all the kids go on about.

My mate also plays it all the time, and he doesn't usually spend too much time on games anymore, it certainly has caught the imagination of many gamers.

Played it a few times doing the mode where you're in teams of 4, it's pretty decent but my fall back game or game that I always go back to is Rocket League, something about it is too addictive. Maybe it's the simplicity yet difficulty in becoming a skillful player

To be fair This and Rocket League are two games that have both hit the high notes with gamers.

Ironically those are the two games my mate plays.

Both on par I would say.

I’ve downloaded it but haven’t played it yet, I’m unemployed at the moment and am worried it will take up to much of my time job hunting.

The school had to send a letter home to the parents to tell them to restrict their playing time on the game because thats all they talk about.. Fortnite Fortnite Fortnite even during lessons.

Was excited when it launched, but enthusiasm faded. Having to buy early access is nothing new, but the meat of the game is nowhere as fun as I first thought it would be. The skins are also very limited. Meh

Lol who cares about the skins. I paid €10 for the battlepass and that’s only coz some of the emotes are funny to use after you kill someone. The gameplay is the best part of the game

Very fun game and with the BR part being free it's amazing. Still prefer PUBG though, but Fortnite is really good, was surprised how much I enjoyed it after I initially brushed it off as a pubg clone.

Its fun yeah but not quite my cup of tea to be fair. Much rather play PUBG I prefer more realistic mechanics and gun play. Its fun but the youngster twitch crowd hype it up much more than it should be IMO.

Anyone played either of them on mobile yet, both now on iPhone/Android?

Popularity doesn't equal quality

Fortnite is free, its gonna be more popular. COD is the best selling game every year and it's not even close to being the best game.

COD is easily the best first person shooter game on console not even debatable
