Either that or it's insurance due to any doubt about the signing of Willy Boly. With Batth and probably Miranda gone, Kortney would likely be number one CB sub.

At the moment we have 6 centre backs which in a 343 set up is probably the optimum number. You would imagine we will keep Bennett, Boly and Coady. The three we have in reserve are Batth, Miranda and Hause.

If we release Batth and Miranda, and let Hause go on loan, I think we would be light in that position and need to sign more than one new centre back
