There seem to be a few on here that are panicking already that we haven't signed a striker yet. It's a little early, considering there's a World Cup looming.

The same was happening last year if I remember and guess what happened...we got promoted.

Nuno will get what he wants and if he thinks we need to keep players like Afobe, then he won't let him go. As I see it, he doesn't rate him that highly.

the issue is the trannie window shuts now before the start of the season. so we have a few days before the WC and maybe a week after it.

Tino, the World Cup ends on July 15th. Our season starts 11th August. There will be 25 days after the WC to do business, not "maybe a week".

Plus we can still sell players up until the end of August.

No need for sarcasm cinci. You know the point I'm trying to make surely? We didn't need to rely on goals from an out and out striker, as the whole team pitched in with the goals needed. If we do get a recognized striker, that means one of our front three not starting games on a regular basis.

Might not be a bad thing in the Premiership tho'.

Window closes August 9th. However bear in mind that the majority of teams will be back home by the end of the first week in July which is the end of the QF stage. Over a month.
