Yeah he has done well. Trouble is, he only seems to do it against the lower teams and goes missing against the better ones.
Not a bad option to have, but we definitely need someone better.

Massive disappointment that when we got to the uefa cup final we played Spurs. They beat Milan in the semi. How great would it have been to see Wolves play a european final second leg in the San Siro
Not sure anyone has seen this:-
Arsene Wenger was sacked by Arsenal, claims Ian Wright
Former striker Ian Wright has claimed Arsene Wenger was sacked by Arsenal and does not believe it is in his character to walk away.
Wenger announced on Friday morning that he would end his 21-year reign at the end of the season.
The Gunners have struggled in the Premier League this campaign and face a second season of finishing outside of the top four.
Wenger has come in for criticism from fans in the last year and Wright, who won the title during the Frenchman’s early years at Arsenal, believes the club took the decision to end his long stay.
“Arsene Wenger is a man of principle, honesty and integrity – that is why I am convinced he has been sacked and not resigned,” Wright said in The Sun.
“For all the vitriol and abuse thrown at him, Arsene has never been a man to walk out before the end of a contract.
“It is a sad situation that it’s come to this and I don’t suppose we will ever find out who is responsible, because they will hide behind each other.
“One day he is doing a press conference with no hint of this, the next he’s gone. It doesn’t add up.
Wouldn't blame them if they did, the position they are in is unacceptable to be honest.

Just catching up on the scores. Sunderland definitely down as Bolton and Burton still have to play each other, and one of them therefore will finish on over 40 points.
No surprise to see Ipswich imploding and the warnings of "careful what you wish for". Now where have I heard that before..?
"Jonas Knudsen was not happy with Ipswich Town fans’ treatment of Mick McCarthy and has warned supporters ‘to be careful what they wish for’ in the wake of his former manager’s departure."

Eek! I saw a WITLESS comment. What a sad man.
Feck me, if we had hard rules about what can and can't be mentioned on a thread, the forum would be as empty as his head.
The league is one big family, and all interconnected. i go to see football when I can, in various divisions, (I was at a non-league game this weekend), and there's more that unites us than divides us.
I thought the relegations issue was interesting, as I did the player comment about Mick - which had shades of deja vu. No big deal outside of that. Also interesting that Ipswich had their worst defeat since before Mick took over there. I know it's a "Marmite" thing, but I'm a pro-Mick man. He should maybe go to Sunderland again.
Was pleased to see him being suggested as a guest of honour at our final home game. That would be a nice touch, (although I doubt it'll happen).
Message to WITLESS: Some of us can enjoy Wolves winning the Championship, again, and still be able to do things like rub our tummy and head at the same time!
'ello, 'ello, 'ello, what's all this then?

Just been watching the fan cam at Notlob and saw our very own Perton's flag hanging on the fence.
What a day. WOW
There's a slight difference between mentioning a manager that has served a club well for 22 years and what may be a controversial decision as to why he has left before his contract is up and having to read more drivel from Bute about a manager that has long since gone.
Fair play to you tho' DJ, for sticking up for the rear end of your panto horse.
Hopefully, come next season, he'll not mention him anymore, but I have reservations about that.
Oh and Bute...you don't have to remind us you're a "pro Mick man", I think we all get it and by the way, this household is still celebrating the fact we're going up and will be for weeks to come.
Hope to see us give the likes of Vinagre and MGW a run out the last couple of games and maybe Eno if he isn't injured.
As for Bute, he is a clown but he has given us a good laugh this season from smuggly celebrating Mick and Ipswich early couple of wins suggesting we would do well to finish above them(only 42 points ahead as it stands though).........following that with how we won't sell 'captain and international" Edwards as he will lead the side........mocking intelligent passing football.......taking continual shots at Cavaleiro and Saiss early season(lesson here, don't listen to DJ).......slowly disappearing into his hole as Ipswich fell to pieces through the season.......and finally even having Afobe come back to mug him off for a bit..........if Carling did seasons
