Morning View.

If we get to Wembley I will miss the game. That is a good omen as I had holiday booked the last time we went to Wembley. Hope for a different outcome. How different would things have been if Keogh had just booted the ball up field or out for throw in.

Maybe we need to put it behind us?

If only I could!!

Often think of that day and "what if?"

It was like, here's the door, and then it slams shut in your face just as you get to the threshold.

We never scored and that was our fault. We had total dominance and didn’t deliver. I don’t blame QPR they were doing all they could do under the onslaught.

Forest fans still believe we got promoted because the possession stats don’t lie.

Why didn't McClaren put on Bamford instead of Dawkins? We had control of midfield before they went down to 10 men so why put on another midfielder. I will never forgive him for that, I don't blame QPR. Harry Redknapp said he had given up hope before Zamora scored. Still nothing we can do about it but it still rankles.

Brother Spart I was just going to post what you said about bringing Bamford on. He would have liked to be the centre of attention and I'm sure he would have stuck one in and milked the adulation.

Fancy taking off Hughes and bringing on Dawkins.

Conspiracy theory, Mc was a good mate of Harry!!!

Perhaps there was a big QPR bonus to share?

You will all feel much better if you can let this go. Perhaps it will take promotion to allow "closure" as they have it these days. Otherwise, counselling is available.......

Heb, fortunately I didn't have to go through the torture. I was otherwise engaged helping a friend who racing at the TT at the same time (and I completely forgot about the QPR game).

1 - Weeping is therapeutic, not only for girls/wimps.
2 - At all crucial games, carry a Morrisons bag filled with old socks/pants (clean!). In moments of unbearable heartache, thump bag fiercely.

What are you on about get over it. I haven't got over 1)losing to Stuart Pearce's Forest team
2)losing to Leeds after going 3 0 up.
3)losing in the semi final of the cup to Man Utd
4)losing to Arsenal in the cup in 1972
5)losing to Swindon in the league cup quarter final in 1969.

I was just about to remind you (and being robbed by the ref. v Juventus).

I'm not one to bear a grudge either, but I draw the line regarding the ManU FA Cup semi-final at Hillsborough.

Snipe (on the wing) - a tricky target apparently, almost as if it knows someone is trying to blow it out of the sky.

It's the Derby way.

Great to be still in it.

To a man and a woman we would have taken this position after the opening 2-2 Friday night game.

Forget mid season slumps, this is where we are at and if we get in the lottery nobody will be wishing they have to play us, especially when we've now got a plan B.

Bring it on.

Begs the question as to why it took Rowett so long to tinker with things. We were on a horrible run, it would have been well worth trying it out far earlier as things pretty much couldn't have got any worse. Having said that, I now have renewed optimism after the results against Cardiff and villa that, should we make it of course, we will actually have a decent crack at it as opposed to a few weeks ago where i thought if we somehow ended up creeping in we would just be there to make up the numbers.
