I take it that's 3 semi's.
That's a hard knock.

Not if you are Home Secretary.
Nearly May and yet they're in a Rudd.
Apart from doing a job on Brentford and basically knocking a rival out of the race, I really want Barnsley to have something to play for as well as us for the last game.
We could be in a similar position when Reading came to town with zilch to play for and let the shackles off.
Going into the play offs should we get there with an intense game beforehand is the best momentum.
When we have had success in the play-offs, and when we haven’t, we have not gone into them with what Spart would call momentum. I don’t think it makes a fat lot of difference. It’s a new situation, knock-out, and it comes down to individual moments of skill or error.
Got to get in, then we have a chance.
I might add that our "momentum" is also the change of formation that had many observers having 2nd thoughts about us,
Us fans included which is nice.

As apposed to having no chance if we don't get in?
JFC.
Well encapsulated, 666.
My point being that the momentum with which a team is perceived to enter the play-offs don’t signify nowt. It’s where you are rather than how you have got there that counts at this juncture.
Go out and about, find an adult, and ask them nicely if they will consider explaining it to you.
Could be your Waterloo 666.
He needs a Portaloo, he’s so full of it.
It’s our year.
We will make the playoffs even if we don’t win another game.
Finishing 6th we play Cardiff who bottle it against Hull tomoz.
We smash Cardiff 12-3 over 2 legs. Being 3 down going into the 2nd led at Cardiff, Gary finally starts Vyddy & Palmer.
Final v Midds.
Best team always loses.
It’s in the bag.

Momentum is yet another football myth like 6 pointers, Fergie's mind games and the form book goes out the window with local derbies.
Fans like to believe them despite there being no evidence or in the case of 6 pointers, logic, to justify their belief. A bit like religion really.
That isn't a problem but manager's believe the nonsense as well. Wassall starting with a full strength team against Ipswich in a meaningless game and losing Thorne probably prevented us from being promoted two seasons ago. His reasoning was that he wanted to preserve the momentum. All good runs come to an end sometime.
