Lol that's a really strange comment considering I really enjoyed The Batman and for the last two years since it's release I've been championing the idea of Matt Reeves being allowed to greatly expand his Bat universe.

And I can perfectly grasp the concept of two iterations of Batman movies at the same time I just think it's an absurd idea. Just as I'd say the same if two completely unconnected Iron Man movies were coming out alongside each other.

Yeah I agree can be done, one is batman the other is Pattinson in leather.

I liked The Batman, was a little slow in areas, thought it was more of a good film rather than a good batman. Kinda like the Joker film, good film (even if it is a rip off) but a poor batman universe film that I cannot buy into.

I think Reeves kills his Batman universe dead the moment he ventures into spin-off series and whatnot. Should just stick to his trilogy tbh

Personally I can't wait for this Penguin series. The big problem we have now is that we have to wait two and a half years for The Batman 2 (if it happens) which is a very long time indeed from the release of The Penguin series. Presumably the two tie in very intricately to each other so we'll just have to twiddle our thumbs for two and a half fecking years lol

The version of Penguin that was in the Gotham series was brilliant IMO. I hope they can nail this one.

Gotham was a brilliant series. First two seasons was some of the best I've ever seen out of comic book adaptation universe.

If Sony really want to be successful they need to hire the Morbius writers for everything and have him recruit the Sinister Six.

Their goal should be to take down Tom Holland's Spidey before MJ and co remember him. Also he's in a relationship with Anya's Black Cat who makes credit scene cameos throughout before her full introduction in the Christmas special, Do They Know It's Morbin Time?
