I suspect they need more seasons to tell the entire story. I haven't read the comic books, so I'm not sure how much is left to tell.

Quicker seasons would be ideal but I'm content to wait, as long as the quality remains high.

I'm ambivalent.

Season 1 was so good and I thought it ended well, with many of the characters stories wrapped up. I would love to delve back into that world but only if the quality and writing are on the same level as the first season.

I suspect they never planned for a season 2 but the praise and ratings have made it an easy decision.

Yeah actually hope that's not true.

Yeah I can understand the reservations. They took season 1 to the end of the book but the book itself is based on real events...so there's still some history for them to base the story on.
