Yeah very mixed indeed.

Even the positive reviews say it doesn't match the original, which isn't unexpected in all fairness.

They should have just left Joker as a standalone movie and cult classic. This just diminishes the original.

Nah Baz is all the way right. They make a Billy on the first film, and suddenly Phillips thinks he can go full fart-house with it.
