Yeah there is the danger we get Jokered out with all these different live action Jokers. The Joker from the Gotham TV series is quite underrated though.

But Nic Cage as a complete maniac Joker would be worth the price of admission alone. Maybe it's something we'll be able to see in the future with AI. Though ironically Nic Cage has spoken out about his fears about using AI in that regard.

People still go on about TDK like it came out yesterday. It's not enough Joaquin gave us Napoleon, mans is hell bent on torturing us more with this musical psycho drama of a deranged clown with his new gf...Reeves' Joker is in Arkham Asylum waiting to be released like a repeat offender on house arrest.

I concur.

I liked the Joker but Heath Ledger still remains untouched.

Well there's way more Joker coming whether we like it or not lol. Currently have Joker 2 in cinemas, then we'll have the Matt Reeves Joker in The Batman 2 presumably. And then we'll inevitably have another DCU Joker for the new Batman in that universe.

And let's not forget possibly more of Jared Leto's Joker if the Ayer Cut ever sees the light of day. That's four different Jokers in four different universes, enjoy

Slight tangent but I'm wondering if Reeves will save his Joker till the third installment and just keep teasing him in the next movie.

Only because the main villain is rumoured to be Mr Freeze with the winter setting. Though I'd prefer the Court of Owls.

TDK is the gratest Batman film, second to Batman Begins. Not surprised there’s a cult status for it 15 years on.

Joker is always put early in the Batman films, would be good to see a different villain in these new ones and the Joker can maybe appear in the 3rd/4th film.

Entirely possible that Joker will be in the third Reeves Batman film and not the second film. They're still writing the movie so I'll guess we'll find out. I don't think there'll be a fourth movie in this series though. Pretty sure Matt Reeves has already said that he sees this as a trilogy.

There was an update about them diving deeper into the corruption of Gotham so it points more towards Court of Owls…which I prefer because it’s never been done in live action

Yeh, heard similar, that sounded very interesting..
but I would like to see Mr Freeze in Reeves universe..

Yeah I would have thought so String. Otherwise not sure why Reeves would have released that Joker scene. Then again we're still a ways away from a second let alone a third Batman film so anything can happen before then.

Personally I wasn't blown away by the Barry Keoghan Joker. Wasn't bad I suppose. The guys a bit on the small side, Joker should be a bit more physically imposing. What did you think aboot it ?

I'm going to rewatch The Batman before Penguin TV series comes out so I'll rewatch that Joker outtake scene again to see if I feel differently about it.
