Sounds aboot right. I did say I was concerned it might not even break 10 mill. Word of mouth has been diabolical

This probably won't help Taylor-Johnson's chances of being Bond, if that was ever a thing

I'd be more worried about worldwide numbers though. Is it getting released in China ? Can't think what else might save it.

Watched the first episode of Creature Commandos and it's everything you'd expect with all humour and silliness.

One thing that becomes evident is that this isn't the very start of the DCU as it's a direct follow up to Gunn's The Suicide Squad therefore making that movie the start of the DCU in effect. With Peacemaker also being in the DCU and happening between the events of TSS and Creature Commandos.

In itself I enjoyed the episode but if The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker and Creature Commandos are setting the tone for the DC going forward then I'm concerned tbh. And that's from someone who enjoyed TSS and Peacemaker for what they are.

Hopefully the imminent Superman trailer (if it ever comes oot) will put to bed that concern and we see a totally distinct tone and flavour to the movie.

Would be less confusing for fans if Gunn said from the beginning that The Suicide Squad is the start of his DCU. Instead of all the confusion aboot Creature Commandos or Superman being the start. As neither of them are.

After 3 eps of Skeleton Crew, I’m focusing all my energies on that.
They are onto a good thing, possibly great.
