I don’t think discussing something that you haven’t seen ‘in the flesh’ is a problem and forums wouldn’t really exist if that was the prerequisite. I think the problem comes from posters discussing things they don’t understand
Messi 1-1 Icelandic Hoofball
Hope Iceland get knocked out early, they are making my eyes bleed

Messi....as in a one man team, it’s a fairly good one to have all things considered
Great result for Iceland who work together well as a team, which Argentina rarely seem to do

If forums relied on people talking about things they have actually seen it would be a whole new world. Do you think it would catch on?

Probably the most arrogant comment you've ever posted DJ. Last seasons match threads would have been discussed by you and maybe two or three others. Is that your idea of a forum?

At the end if the day, all things considered, it's 11 v 11. No matter the size of your country, or ego, it's what you do on the day that counts.

Hearing rumours that Wolves may be offloading a player in a big money sale this summer. Not Neves. Time will tell if there’s any truth in that one
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe there is some truth in this, one or two clubs now being linked with Cavaleiro
Be mad to lose cavaleiro at this stage
If we were to sell Cavaleiro we would have to replace him. Jota and Costa are a fine pairing to support the striker but if either one got injured, only Cavaleiro is capable of slotting seamlessly into that position.
Can't see Nuno letting him go personally.
If Carlsberg did sporting afternoons..................
MotoGP followed by Germany v Mexico with the first chance to watch our 38m euro striker perform.
Lovin' it
I don't see much point in selling any of our foreign imports at this stage. Let's see how well they do in the top flight.

Correct!
Haven't heard a peep about Léo Bonatini.
I am assuming that the club are waiting to see if they get another striker in, if so, it will be bye bye Léo, if not maybe they will offer him a contract?
Speaking of the Germany v Mexico game, I see that thousands of Germans have descended on Moscow.
Well that's about 50 miles closer than they managed in 1943 I suppose

Think we decided not to take him Gem, though that might be something we can go back to

Heard rumours for a while that Cavaleiro would’ve offloaded this summer but wasn’t convinced it was true. Looks like maybe it is. My understanding is that his relationship with Nuno and some of the other players isn’t great
Makes all the photos the Portuguesers share look a bit funny if that is the case.
Still think it is more likely Costa goes than Cav

Amen brother
Good to read that Kevin Foley and Ebanks Blake are doing a 100 mile sponsored cycle today to raise money for leukaemia research inspired by the current fight against that illness by Carl Ikeme
Bonatini won’t be signing now, the options to buy our loan players ended at the end of May which is why the Jota, Boly and Afobe signings were made at that time. If we hadn’t have signed Afobe then, Stoke would have just signed him for £12m from Bournemouth and we would have missed out on our £2m profit

So going by that reasoning then, the club have chosen not to take up the option on Vinagre which I think is a mistake.
It also means that we need cover for LWB as well as RWB.
