So now I have a question.
Are we now classed as a Premiership club or are we a Championship club until the Prem season starts on Saturday August 11th?

The reason that I ask is that the Premiership and Championship windows open and close at different times as follows:

Premier league Window
Opens Thursday May 17th
Closes Thursday August 9th @ 5pm

Championship Window
Opens Monday May 7th
Closes August 31st

This is further complicated by the fact that the international window doesn’t open until June 7th. As we will probably be bringing in players from outside the UK I assume the club will be spending the time between now and June 7th selling off players to the Championship and League 1.

Regarding the transfer windows, it doesn't really matter in terms of when it opens. You can sign a player whenever you want, it is more a registering issue. Obviously you will have to register any signings with the PL now, so it would be that one.

Morning Mr Grumpy. No, the facts are not available at the moment but they will be over the coming days and weeks and I thought that if we have one place to record any transfer activity people can check whenever they like to see the latest news. It's why I have asked Admin to make the thread live.

Like all my threads people are welcome to post any unrelated stuff that want to but I would really prefer that transfer speculation and rumour is left elsewhere for people who like that sort of thing.
