Transfer News - The Real Deal [LIVE]

Don't know if the loan window is aligned with the transfer window, they're not usually so could be some more movements yet. Also with overseas windows being longer could still see some outgoings I guess for a few more weeks to come.

Don't know about the loan window Oldie but I have a feeling that it closes next Thursday the same as the transfer window.
As far as outgoings are concerned, I doubt many of our bomb squad will be going abroad. Zyro and Gladon maybe but the others are more likely to be heading to the championship or league 1.

Have just checked on the 'loan window' and it appears that I'm correct.

FIFA have been piling on the pressure to the FA to bin the extended post-transfer window period to allow loans. With the restructuring of the window, the FA have agreed and have scrapped the loan period.
So that's that for Premier League teams - once it passes 5pm on Thursday, the squads cannot be added to until January.

I understand the argument for having the transfer deadline before the season starts but in my opinion it’s not the right decision to go out of line with the rest of Europe. Clubs could find players tempted away to a European club late in August and not be able to replace them until January

I'm surprised Steven Gerard hasn't come in for him. He's made it clear he's looking for a Centre Half.

With regard to your deleted article gem, I know I would support you deleting comments from supporters of other teams on Wolves threads, but don’t stop putting the threads up

Thanks for that DJ but I think I'll take a step back for a while. OK, yes perhaps I'm being over sensitive but that's the way I am, if I wasn't like that I wouldn't write poetry in the first place.
I thought I was posting my latest poem on the Wolves board specifically for the Wolves threadsters to read as it is of no interest to anyone else. What I failed to realise is that there are people out there who click on 'Premier League' and then troll through rival club's boards just so that they can make disparaging and defamatory comments just to get a rise out out of posters. Now I feel like someone in his own bedroom knowing that there is a peeping tom out there looking in.
These individuals are a sad lot who have no life outside of this forum but, like yourself, I have a busy life and have neither the will nor the time to get into verbal battles with internet trolls and keyboard warriers.

Incidentally, the poem that was derided on here has now been published on the internet site 'Football Poets' along with all my other ones, so it's good to know that people with intellect appreciate my work.

No I deleted the poem after some disgusting troll from Spurs decided it would be fun to say some very unpleasant things about. The uncultured twerp then posted a 'poem' of his own detailing how he cut up his mother and father with a meat cleaver. At this point Admin 1 stepped in, took his work of art down and put the cretin in moderation.
Admin then asked me to re-consider my decision not to post any more match preview threads and offered to make all my threads live so that I have the opportunity to remove any more of these moronic trolls.
So there we are, an unpleasant little episode, but I'm still here and presumably the Spurs troll has gone to seek psychiatric help

Unless it was true, and he really HAD cut his Mum and Dad up with a meat cleaver.

Presumably he would still require psychiatric help though..

I never got to read your poem Gem, but I was disgusted with the one that 'Spurs fan' put up. I sent a complaint in to the Admins and it was soon deleted. What surprised me was that there were so many comments after that foul poem and no one else had complained. Or maybe my one was the last straw.

Anyway, good to see you're back with the match threads.

In case anyone missed Gem’s poem it was mainly expressing his anti Muslim, pro North Korean opinions and proposing building a wall between England and Wales to keep criminals and illegal immigrants out of Wolverhampton. No idea why people found it offensive. Donald Trump thought it was great

Can't speak for North Korea but do now have first hand insight into the world's fourth least free nation Turkmenistan and all I can say is............it's life Jim but not as we know it!!
