I think we are getting carried away here for nothing anyway. There is no chance we are spending £4m on a 33 year old ffs

Will offer any kind of bet anyone wants that we don't spend £4m on this guy. He might sign, but not for anything like that kind of money.

Agreed

But it makes sense if you say Ronaldo enough...

he has played about half the leaue games this season so either he's been injured or he's been out the team

he's probally on big wages and getting on aswell they might well just want rid of him

if he signs it will be a small fee i would imagine with most of the money going on wages

also he is apparantly on 70k a week .... next !!

I really don't see Rangers bidding £4m for anyone.

If you could get him on a pay as you play type deal it’s be fantastic. He hasn’t played as many games this season as in previous seasons so may struggle to get 30+ games out of him

Let’s hope we haven’t bid for skirtel

33 nearly 34 no thanks.

We have had enough attempts to replicate the old head that was David weir but he was a one off . We tried it with Alves. Pash.

We got Martin in , pash.

Let’s try and get a non past it centre back with experience

But then you look at Kolo at Celtic. While he may not have played much, by all accounts he was a big help to the young defenders who were there. Something similar could work for Rangers

Meh, or maybe he wasn’t and he was just schiedt ?

“ good with the young players but”

Nah, I’d rather have someone in who goes out in the first team and shows the youngsters exactly how it’s done.

Fed up watching us lose goals nearly every time someone attacks us

He would get a game every week surely?

Alan Hutton on the way apparently.

Free transfer. Been good this season as well.

Back up for both RB and LB.

Hutton

Who he playing for these days?

posted on 15/5/18

If he could you’d imagine initially he would play, as did Kolo. But as above could evolve into a mentor and help bring on some of the young defenders at the club.

That’s what we thought about Alves anaw and look how that worked out. Russel Martin and Bates are keeping him out the team

Villa

Absolutely, it’s a gamble. But down at the lower end of the transfer market every player is a gamble. At least with Skrtel you would suspect he’d get a game every other week, and he’d be able to advise and support a novice manager who has little experience of setting up a defensive line

If he’s been playing well in the championship you’d imagine he’d be fine back up here.

Seen that jay Lloyd Samuel ex villa player is dead at 37
