I think it's a deal that was done before Gerrard came in. But I'm happy enough as he is a decent player and better than the other options at left wing.

To be fair, I thought he was Rangers best player first half against us in the 3-2 game.

Totally anonymous the other games though and looked every bit the boy at Motherwell who was all pace and very little technical ability.

You’d have thought they’d have waited until Gerrard would have maybe brought in one of those ex England internationals who are still at 100% peak fitness and are so well motivated and have an eye for where the goal is and now just need some silverware to put in their cabinets to sign up first wouldn’t you?

It seems the more diehard Gers play for you against us, the easier it is for us. That said, he played reasonably well against the other teams, so would imagine that most Bears are happy
