Every football fan would pick a trophy over 3rd place but spurs fans prefer when they earn more money for levy

Tbf you need to have experienced both sides to be able to really answer the question. Most of these Spurs fans don't. Not surprisingly, the ones who have like sandy prefer the cup win.

I’m 34, I’ve experienced trophies as well and as things stand and where we’re at, I’m happier with our season than Chelsea’s.
The thing with Chelsea is they change things so often and always seem to bring in the flavour of the month managers so they will often get back into the Champions League or even win the title off the back of a bad season. They have no stability at all, but still win things. To a club like ourselves or Spurs who are more stable and are building something, missing out on the Champions League would be more costly and so I'd rather have that than win a FA Cup. But both teams do need to win something soon. Hopefully ours will come in six days.

With the help in attracting better players is a necessity.
The teams a bit slate now and need a fresh injection of quality . CL at our banging new stadium will sure help.
I would have been mega disappointed to have won the FA cup and dropped out of the CL places in the final weeks of the season . That would have destroyed my summer whereas I was over the FA cup disappointment after a few days.

Why do fans always try and pick one or the other. We should be aiming for both CL qualification and a trophy. I don't think it really matters because Chelsea attract top class players wether they are in the CL or not. Why? Because they win silver wear season after season and players see them as a club where you can achieve success.

The head says we need CL football to improve the standing of the club.
Most Europeans could not even name a cup winner of another European league.
Most Europeansbwould remember CL knockout games though.
Clubs such as United and Chelsea have years of growth in the bank, so a year out here and there does not affect them. We have it all to do.
At the end of the day, the CL spot is far more important to the club at this time. Not even close

The league cup is one of the only three major domestic cups on offer in English football.
Oh and how long have Leeds been in the Champuonship, must be coming up to two decades now. Enjoy.
In the short term top 4 is the better result. Means more money and a better chance to secure better players. In the long term unless we are to be serious contenders for the CL then the FA cup is the better outcome. Chelsea can afford a season outside of the CL, so winning the cup is ok for them. With a new stadium to paybfor can we afford to have no CL for a number of years?

sure i would. but it doesn't guarantee anything. i'd rather take the FA cup though and i think most spurs would also.

In the short term top 4 is the better result. Means more money and a better chance to secure better players. In the long term unless we are to be serious contenders for the CL then the FA cup is the better outcome. Chelsea can afford a season outside of the CL, so winning the cup is ok for them. With a new stadium to paybfor can we afford to have no CL for a number of years?
