My personal selfish view is that I wouldn't be bothered if the FA bowed down to these loonies and kicked him out of the squad.
He'll be nice and fresh for the season start.

Would be a shame for the lad himself but as an Englishman I couldn't give two sheites about England internationally.

I think they’ve misinterpreted his comments in terms of what the tattoo was for, he’s not said it was in reference to his father at all. All he said was that’s the leg he shoots with.

They'll take whatever inference that suits them. It's usually the one of self-interest under the guise of 'decency and patriotism'.

If I was an England player and the press were hounding me before a major tournament I would retire from international football. Short of a swastika or something actually offensive I really don't see a problem.

such a silly to get upset about, that being said..........its just really strange to get something like that tattooed in honour of someone you love being killed by said thing, again though his body he can do what he likes
