Bit cheeky to say “assistant manager” Vidal.
The only mention of assistant manager in the article is when he was assistant manager of the U18 at Chelsea.
It says he’s part of the back room staff.

Do you have information actually stating he is the assistant manager?

It’s just i’ve had enough of speculation especially as JT has “agreed” to join Derby. Did you know that the root of that story is the Daily Star speculating that Terry may join Derby and other outlets quoting the Daily Star’s article as a good enough reason to talk their own boIlocks.

So please confirm that you know for a fact that the assistant manager to Frank Lampard Derby County has been filled by Jody Morris.

If this is the case then quite why we our first team veterans will be happy to be coached by a youth team coach is beyond me.

If Morris is in to take over the running of the academy then that makes perfect sense. First team coach seems a bit mad to me.

Why such a hate for Terry ? I can understand the gate from our rivals, but you aren’t our rivals.

You’ll be hiring him because of his knowledge about the game, not because of his past reputation that media keeps portraying him.

Thanks for pointing that out but i’m so used to the first 4 paragraphs being about “following the departure of blah blah” that I normally skip the intro as it’s normally padding.
My point remains about our ex international and international players being taught how to duck eggs by Chelsea’s youth team coach.
If he was to run our academy lock stock and barrell with Franks trust in him we will see us get something worthwhile from the academy set up.

Franks is a risk as we are now to double that up with an assistant who has never coached above youth team level surely that is compounding the issue.

I think Jody as academy supremo would be excellent but as I have said one many untried managers at the helm for me.

It’s a brave new world but the best thing is that i’n Be there to see it.

Rameses, if you have learned anything in all this time then surely it is that my word is not to be doubted. Do you think that I would say that he was assistant manager if he wasn’t? You’ve just made yourself look daft there and it was all unnecessary.

Chelsea fans seem gutted to see him leave - also stating he is good enough to be our manager in his own right.

No I didn't. I think we can safely say we don't want any ex Burton backroom staff.

However if things go t!ts up and I'm pretty sure they won't, we could always go back for Burton's gaffer to get us back on track.

Jody has an excellent beard, it's a slightly shorter tidier version of mine. It's a yes from me.
