Where would Wilshere go? Like Walcott who I was massively surprised went north I cant see who would go for Wilshere.

A who's who of bang average midfielders.

Bit like Dire, Wagamama and Waanks.

Dier & Wanyama are better than that lot, so it's Wheelchair.

Have a word, son. A Torreira, Xhaka, Ramsey midfield will piiss all over your Yiido shiitebags.

It’s absolutely not enough, not one of them have a creative bone in their body

The bench.
D’J that list seems weak to be fair
Shocked nobody has come in for Wilshere, really shocked.
Unless he wants mega wages? On a free seems a no-brainer.
I’d have him at United today. He’d be a great back-up for Verratti
Wilshere wants close to 100k a week which no one will pay for a guy with his injury record (even if he looks to be over his problems). I'm happy for him to leave. He'll end up at Palace or West Ham.

In fairness, Jack has become far less of what I'd call a creative player in the last couple of seasons, than he used to be, so not sure how much actual creativity we'll really be losing when he leaves.
I agree though, some more quality in that regard would be welcome in midfield.

Firstly, number of assists and goals suggests producing goals from that list is not an issue (assuming that is what is meant by "creativity".
Secondly, we have Ozil and Mkhitaryan as the creative players. Vieira, Petit, Parlour, Edu weren't "creative" players, the job is to get the ball back and give it to the "creative" players.
Im fairness we finished 6th last season and were absolutely shiiiite so the midfield wasn't particularly good with him as an option. We need to do a lot better than that and he isn't good enough
West Ham is the rumour I keep hearing. Bit sad to see him go, but I'll probably get over it fairly quickly - sometimes a few months can go by and I forget he's at the club anyway.
I’m not saying losing Jack is a disaster but basically all over those players are the exact same type of player. Xhaka can create some opportunities with his long passing range but he’s a liability as a holding player. Ramsey makes his late runs to the box and can create in an advanced position.
Wilshere chance creation is nowhere near good enough but he can create spaces with his touch and dribbling and can carry to ball into advanced area of the pitch. He is the best of a poor bunch in playmaking terms. The truth is we need to upgrade on him but leaving him go with no replacement would be mental, especially now that Santi has gone.
I know we can’t get Verratti but surely there is a player in his mould out there who could improve Arsenal.
Isn't Torreira meant to be a Verratti style player?
No point going on about Ozil or Mkhi being creative when too often they are starved of possession due to our inept midfield. Then they get accused of going hiding
