Quite sure Real Madrid will make a move for Kane. At the latest, next summer.

Me ..I will replace him

Real wont buy Kane as his value is insane, and he would be mad to leave spurs, where the team is built around him.
At real he would just be another player.
Kane is easily englands best striker, but the ironic thing is he hasnt looked very lethal at the world cup, despite his goals.
Probably a blessing for spurs tbh, although i sense Real arent in a rush to negotiate with Daniel Levy again

If they’re selling Ronaldo you can be sure they have a replacement lined up already and the result of the world cup will be irrelevant.

His goals demonstrate exactly why he is so lethal.

Statistically sure, but its also worth looking at the bigger picture.

Hasnt he scored like 2 goals from open play? from about 2 yards? discounting the deflection.

Top scorer/golden boot is one thing, but I genuinely dont see the real fans going crazy over a striker that hasnt looked lethal really.

Again, I rate Kane massively but he simply hasnt caught the eye or looked threatening. Good thing for Spurs really I think.

Also good for England cos if he does come alive he could really have an impact.

England just seem to be wasting him i think with the system, there is now way he should 90% of the time be deeper than Sterling etc. Madness.

Goals are amazing, and decide games, but i dont genuinely believe the 6 goals from this tournament really highlight his skills, or make him seem like a 'must buy'

If our good fortune continues and he keeps scoring, whilst not doing a great deal, Il defo take it

I am looking forward to Spurs and Liverpool fans insisting that Salah or Kane will join Madrid

Kane has just signed a 6 year deal worth up to £300k a week before flying out to the World Cup, off the back of Poch signing an £8m a season 5 year deal. I don't care if God himself was president of Madrid, he wouldn't be stupid enough to get on the blower to Levy about it as he'd know he'd be either laughed hysterically at, or the victim of the biggest public pants pulling down in history.

Hazard is a much easier target.

Hazard is an easier target yes but why would Kane turn his nose up at Madrid to stay at Tottenham? Bias aside Ace.

Signing a new contract means fack all. Coutinho joined Barca after signing a 5 year deal

Yeah there is 0% chance they go for Kane imo.

Hazard, Courtois....Lewandowski maybe? has similar or better shot conversion % and would be at least half the money, although much older.

I think Kane is mad if he leaves Spurs and he wont ever get it better than what he does now.

Being the main man is way better than being just another player. Looked how they have accommodated Bale the last few years, doesnt really make you want to jump on a plane to Madrid to sign imo

On the other other hand look at how Stevie Me had it as the main man. Never won a PL title while Chelsea won everything including the trophies that Stevie Me won at Liverpool.

Mbappe and Kane have just signed new contracts which puts their clubs in extremely strong positions. Of all the players mentioned here, the only one for sale at the right price will be Hazard.

posted on 10/7/18

Price has never really been an issue for Real Madrid though.

Spurs and Liverpool are lucky that Real won the CL, because finishing 4th and trophyless after Barca and PSG's expenditure would have put huge pressure on them to spend big. As it is though, there is still the pressure of overhauling Barca in the league both on and off the pitch.

Hazard won’t be an adequate replacement for Ronaldo. Would have to be Mbappe or Salah.

posted on 10/7/18

Icardi or Lewandowski are a couple of players who would be available.

I think they would probably want someone like Neymar or Mbappe, because although Hazard or Salah might be quality players, they are not as marketable. They also do not demonstrate enough intent or make much of a statement.

I wish Chelsea had made a move to sign Ronaldo as he could have been used as a swap for Hazard.I don't want to see Chelsea losing Hazard to Real Madrid.

Looking at this from Real's prospective, your primary targets would be Neymar or Mbappe.

I echo what Broaquin said. No-one will replace CR7 on the pitch so they have to look at this from the business point of view, and Hazard & Salah are niche markets. Neymar holds the keys to the Brazilian market (the heartbeat of football), and if France win this WC Mbappe will temporarily be the hottest property in football.

Unless Hazard comes out and signals intent to move, I don't fear a Real approach. They've had plenty of time to pounce the last two years, don't think they rate him highly enough to match our valuation. Good for us if I'm right

It will be Hazard and Lewandowski most likely with Bale completing the 3

On paper that looks really exciting

Mbappe has more to his game and is younger. You cant replace CR7 like for like and Kane is under no pressure at Spurs. He will want to win a domestic trophy at some stage but will give Spurs another season or two first i think.
