If they want to live here, fair do's and all that but the least they can do is financially prepare themselves for that.
thats the least anyone who moves to another country should do.

Then they should be exempt from paying taxes or pay less tax (proportion to what they will need to pay for, so no tax towards army, or NHS etc, tax towards police, fire brigade etc,) as they will not benefit from the tax they do pay.
Or are you asking people to pay into a system they will get nothing out of and be treated as second class citizens?

Maybe after x amount of contributions they then become.entitled to services like the NHS

I would suggest immigrants into this country get it better than anywhere else given the fact that they all want to live here.

So they shouldn't be entitled to the same as other citizens is what you're saying?

What is the process a person has to go through to become a citizen and become entitled to benefits?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know, I'm talking about what they get after they become citizens.
Answer my question.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then I don't know enough about the citizenship process to answer your question.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which means you don't know enough to say we are bending over backwards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, we do bend over backwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you do know enough about the citizenship process to say we bend over backwards?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't I say that about immigrants, not citizens ?

Nothing. Nothing at all.
If they want to live here, fair do's and all that but the least they can do is financially prepare themselves for that.
thats the least anyone who moves to another country should do.
-----
Then they should be exempt from paying taxes or pay less tax (proportion to what they will need to pay for, so no tax towards army, or NHS etc, tax towards police, fire brigade etc,) as they will not benefit from the tax they do pay.
Or are you asking people to pay into a system they will get nothing out of and be treated as second class citizens?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If they are working here they should pay taxes like everybody else.
----
Not if they aren't going to get the same benefits in paying the same amount of tax.
As they have to use private health are, then they shouldn't be paying any tax towards NHS. They won't be entitled to it. Nor should they pay tax towards benefits they get nothing from. As they're not going to be full citizens, they shouldn't pay towards the army.
I pay less tax than the locals in China as I do not get the same benefits here as they do.

I dont know. Nobody has specified the difference between an immigrant and a citizen
