I don't really understand the pessimism. Yes our CF is pretty dire, our LB could be better, but otherwise we have a pretty good 11 which will now be playing a brand of football they enjoy.
No reason to not believe Jorginho - Kante - Barkley(Golovin??) or whoever the 3rd is won't carry games for us.
This system suits Pedro down to the ground. Hazard will thrive in an attacking side for a change.
I find all the negativity really strange, I can't wait for the season to start under Sarri.
Of course I'd like another CM in (Golovin) and a new LB but I think Emerson is good enough to do a job and CHO/Ampadu and maybe Musonda are ready to be squad players for us.

Is still a decent team. Just got to remain optimistic I guess.
Barkley looked good today. I can see him having a good season for himself with a fresh chance under Sarri.
Conte was never a manager in that system that he was going to thrive under.
With kante and jorgino behind you, hazard to the left of you, and a hold up striker like giroud, any AM should thrive this season.
The negativity is justified because of a dismal performance last season. Yes some of it was down to Conte but overall their were a lot of poor performances. I just don't trust some of those players... its not the first time we missed out on champions league aswel with some of those players still there.
Also, why the hate on Alonso? there are far more important positions we need to strengthen. Even Moses is ahead of him in needing to be replaced!

Morata deserves a chance, he did score 7 in 7 or something so he's definitely capable.
I feel he will be more suited to Sarri's attacking style and it was his 1st season in the prem.

I doubt we'll break back into that Top 4 when Liverpool have heavily strengthened, United have Mourinho and Spurs still have a strong first 11.. there's no point in even mentioning City.
If we don't sort ourselves out these next 2 weeks with players who are going to strengthen us and move us forward not backward then say goodbye to another season of no champions league and say goodbye to Sarri

I think there is a very slim chance we'll make top 4 this season, I just can't see it with this team, there are issues all over the place.
Sarri will be gone at Christmas
Our squad is the worst out of the top six.
I think Arsenal will be better than us next season, at least they've got goalscorers in Aubameyang and Lacazette
Agree, but we have the best player in the league, best midfielder and in the league and arguably best defender in the league. So let's hope they can drag us through like they have done before.
