16/1 is a nice price.

Same odds as Harry winning the golden boot at the start of the WC.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I cleaned up on that as well Sizz.

Never understand why Spurs and their players are always such long odds. And Liverpool are always so short. Should be make it 9 out of 10 seasons in front of Liverpool this coming season. Liverpool fans must be losing a fortune.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Liverpool have owners who invest in their side and seem to want to progress

Levy is so tight you could put a lump of coal up his ass and a week later it would come out a diamond
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet we still always manage to finish above you! 🀷🏾‍♂️

Poor you!

Such dreary football!

Liverpool’s odds are spot on, if you understand betting. They’re not 4/1 to actually win the league, those odds are to cover us finishing second, which is pretty realistic considering our investment.

That’s funny I thought we finished second a few years back

A thing of the past. You’ll do well to make top 4 this season. Cheers for Toby btw

City/Liverpool
Spurs
Chelsea
United
Arsenal

I accept I'm going on last season's performances. Chelsea have got to improve, especially with the new man. United are anything but, judging by Maureen's comments (or outbursts, take yer pick).

In reality it's a difficult call. Last season, City ran away with it. United came second due to their superlative, eye-catching, never-a-dull-moment, attack-attack-attack (honest!) world famous exciting football.

Spurs? A very good team indeed, underestimate them at your peril. Chelsea and Arsenal? New faces in the dugout, and, like Spurs, neither have gone mad in the transfer window, unlike, em ...

To my fellow Reds: could you ever imagine Butch and Sundance investing the way FSG have?

Like I said, it's a hard call

So now it’s time he ‘finish above’ trophy to go with Harry’s Golden Boot trophy

Everyone can write off Chelsea but up until the new year we were neck and neck with Utd for 2nd.

Conte then decided to do a Mourinho and sulk every press conference about new signings and fell out with the likes of Luiz and Willian (he must hate Brazilians)

Imagine having a squad with Luiz, Fabregas, Kanté, Hazard, Willian, Pedro and asking them to ultimately park the bus. Horrific.

Throw Jorginho in there too.

We will be very close.

The Europa league factor might give you some issues

There's a common trend here, Everyone thinks their team will do very well and it's hard to argue against any of them which is a credit to the competition in the PL. 6 teams could win it and if any of them did it wouldn't be a massive surprise.

I know if Chelsea play to our full capability (which I think we will under Sarri) then there's no reason why we can't win it. We have 9/10 players who have won multiple titles and know what it takes.

I agree it could hinder us but we have a good enough squad to chop and change. I don't think the likes of Hazard , Kanté and Jorginho will feature in EL games, Especially not the ones in the middle of Kazakhstan.

What makes you think a manager who has literally won nothing in his career can take Chelsea to the title in his first season? I think you’re expectations are unrealistic....

Courtois looks like he’s off. Can a side win the league with the likes of Willy or Rob Green in goal? Remains to be seen

Both Alonso and Emerson are both LB by trade, and they can defend. They're not top notch lb granted, but they are good defenders nonetheless

He's won nothing but let's taking into consideration the club's he's managed... Empoli, Napoli etc.

Would Klopp or Pep win at these clubs with limited funds to say the least? I doubt it and if you're honest you would too.

Pep had to spunk £300m on top of players like Aguero, Silva, De Bruyne, Kompany and Otamendi etc to win the title.

Klopp hasn't got near the title and if Liverpool do this season then again he will have had to spend a fair few quid to do so.

Sarri is finally at a club that will spend money.

Who will play CB for you? That would be my concern. All bar Rudiger struggle in a 2, which Sarri will use. You don't have a left back that can defend.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I personally think it will be Luiz and Rüdiger. Let's not forget City finished on 100 points with Otamendi and Stones at the back.

Chelsea seem to have one poor season followed by a season they do very well in. They’ve added a very good coach and a very good central midfielder (the pick of Fabinho, Fred and Jorginho is Jorginho from the little I’ve seen of all three) and have as yet not lost any of their important players.

They have a winning mentality too which can be underestimated. Of all the odds there if i was to bet I’d throw some money on chelsea, good money if it comes off and i wouldn’t be shocked if they did win it come the end of the season.
