Wait until Usmanov takes over Everton. Easily become the next city in terms of spending.

He won't. He didn't sell his AFC because he was board but more because he needs the cash.
I doubt he needed the £600 mil. He probably lost hope about taking over Arsenal or even getting a seat on the board.
If Kronke wasn't such a cant they could have done a joint venture to get Arsenal back into the big time.
Leicester signed that CB we were supposed to be very interested in Caglar Soyuncu and for only £19Mil.
Man we must be broke or something as the squad still need work especially in defence.

Surely all that tells you is the rumours of us being quoted silly money for him were false and we were never interested?
Usmanov needs cash a year after offering 1.5 billion to buy the club...
I doubt that’s the reason
It's a different climate for oligharcs.
Perhaps your gaffer has decided this is a dead season and is just gonna take a look at the shambles Wenger left behind before reshaping the squad.
I think we've made some decent purchases, but it's a shame the reports about Emery not having a huge amount to invest appear to have been true.
I really would have liked us to bring in some natural width and directness, as I feel the narrowness of our play has been one of our biggest weaknesses these last few years.
I would have loved us to have invested in players like Justin Kluivert and Adama Traore - both of whom cost less than £20m and would have given us a different dimension going forward.
Yeah, whoever got Traore got a bargain.
