Imagine taking a decent offer for a player you got for £60k to balance your books
That will never catch on
Windass was one of the most frustrating players to watch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Long overdue your club catching up on its debts.
What were those promises again?
😂😂😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Our debts are a fraction of Celtics , soft loans to directors will be paid soon in shares
I'd have kept him as i liked him as a player, same with Declan John. But selling them isn't a huge problem as both might have been rotated or be backups and there is a need to try keep some sort of financial control. I'd rather both of them were sold than Tavernier for example

Hahahhaha. That old chestnut
3-4 million recouped with Windass, John and potentially money from Waghorn sale.
Couple million spent on another decent striker would be nice.

Looking at the way Rangers play under Stevie G - I think he was quite simply surlpus to requirements.
Good player - but too hot and cold. I think he lacks that "winner" mentality too. Best of luck to him but no great loss

Lassana Coulibaly facts:
Can light a fire by rubbing two ice-cubes together.
Once cut a knife with butter.
Can divide by zero.
Once beat the sun in a staring contest.
Had a main role in Star wars - he was the force.
Can do a wheelie on a Unicycle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Early contender for cringe post of the season
😂😂😂😂

Aye, and Sadiq was the wookie.
decent ish money for a guy who plays when he wants...
He has ability so who knows where his career goes from here.
Good luck to the lad.
Transfer window has been far better than last year. Windass the only player we’ve lost that some people might be disappointed to see go. But he was a second striker for me so wasted being played in Gerard’s system.
Got a great return on him. Spent a good whack, and early doors but it looks well spent on results so far. And those results have already helped us pick up an extra couple million by having two more European rounds so far, hopefully more to come. Would make a big difference to our coffers if we were to get to the group stages.
who in that Rangers team is a winner just now?
Windass has speed in his locker and makes some good runs, his movement off the ball is also great - but his end product has often been terrible.
Last season saw him turning a corner on the 'end product' front and I thought we were only starting to see him come good.
Make no doubt about it - we have lost a good player.
If recruitment hadnt already been fantastic, then it would have had a bigger impact on us - but fortunately, provided we get another striker in, I dont see him being a huge loss.

McGregor, Goldson, Katic, Arfield, Coulibaly, Jack and Flanagan. Morelos and Tavernier are getting there too. Both of them turning in MOTM performances lately.
We're looking pretty strong as a unit now.
Any scoffing will probably be done by people who haven't seen us this season. We look like a very different proposition. Early days yet but a promising start.

£2.5m for a wee spiceboy who was largely poor for us, and that we signed for 60k is cracking business.

See this Goldson guy? Do any bears think that if he was Scottish, he would be the greatest Scottish Centre-half ever?
Another pointless question
