I would say under that circumstance, Brendan must stay.

Let's go.

I would say 1 yes 2 no

I think he would leave but he really should have enough on what he achieved already to get another season if he wanted it

Say I won the lottery this year.

1. Could I still claim on any missold PPI?

2. Should I still claim?

I'm not making a prediction here or saying this will happen but,

Say Celtic won the league this year;

1. Will Gerrard lose his job ?

2. Should Gerrard lose his job ?

Why should Brendan lose his job?

He has revolutionised our club. Brought in a ten year strategy and made us millions of pounds while being successful. You don't sack a guy for doing that.

Seriously, if Rangers were to somehow win the league against all the odds, Rodgers would essentially be finished in football.

First real challenge he has in Scotland and he blows it? How could he hang around. The man who blew the 10 in a row dream? Carrying that burden would be too much.

He’d look like Johnny Hayes within a matter of days

Yeah if he blows it this season, his reputation will be in tatters he'll have to leave.

Not that his reputation in England seems to have risen while he's been at Celtic anyway.

They shouldn't need to match them for him to win the league, he spent more on 1 player than we've spent this summer.

Not saying the ambition of the board isn't an issue but it's a separate one to maintaining the status quo.

It would also be clear that he has fallen way short of meeting the boards ambitions.

There can be no excuse him for not winning the league this season. None.

1. Yes
2. Yes

If a rookie manager can win the title in his first season in charge, then yes the embarrassment would be too much to take.

Anyway it’s a pointless theory as it will never happen, Brendan is a world class manger proven at the highest level, Celtic have the title in the bag. Stevie G will do well to get 2nd, that should be our aim.

I thought we were hypothesising about things that won't happen?
