MoreSpurs exactly. I have tickets lined up for 1st game at the new lane expecting it to be there. The club can f*** off now. I won't be paying any money for Wembley. The club knew exactly what was going on, but had to issue a statement due to leaks. Utter shambles.

This is almost verging on ridiculous because until this week, there was no suggestions that the Stadium won't be ready for the game on the 15th Sept.

Then out of blue, they announce a new date? While all the time taking money from fans some of whom wanted that special occasion atmosphere when the 1st game is played in the new stadium?

This is selling tickets under false pretences, which are subtle used to aid the sale.

Either the contractors are pulling the wool over Levy & co, which wouldn't surprise me or that 15th Sept date was never realistic and whoever announce it, makes everyone look like imbeciles.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anybody with an ounce of sense, going down to look at the stadium over the past month or two, could see that it was nowhere near being finished. So not sure why all our supporters are surprised. I saw this coming months back.

We are going to get into our superb new stadium a bit later than we hoped, big deal theres people dying in the world.

Can't believe how upset some folk are over something we all saw coming, I bet Chelsea wish their new stadium was this far advanced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have to say some of our fans are showing the same bed wetting because the stadium is going to be a bit late, as they did over Spurs buying no players. Ridiculously over the top, and some are acting like spoilt little children that are throwing their dummys out of the pram over no new players, and now a slight delay in the stadium.

Modern supporters. FFS get a grip.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sandy you wanted our manager sacked a few months back so you have no right to tell anyone to get a grip
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have as much right over this as anybody mate. And I did tell everybody months ago that it would be at least Xmas if not later that it would be ready, and I think I was more or less told I didn`t have a clue what I was posting about. I think an apology from a few might actual be the order of the day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
People a well within there right to feel annoyed, let down and damn right fack off with the way levy is handling this situation.

Just because you are okay with it doesn’t warrant you telling others to get a grip.

Frankly does it matter where Spurs are playing. True supporters will watch them wherever they play.

Not good enough Sandy.

Sandy. I'm a true supporter mate but Spurs and Levy can f*** off for all I care mate. I won't be going Wembley. My brother a season ticket holder is selling his Wembley tickets to. I'm sure we won't be the only ones.

Sorry MK, but some of our fans are acting like big babies. If they have a suggestion to how they are going to play games in a stadium that is not ready, then I am all ears.

Not arrogant at all. They can please themselves. But throwing strops because the ground opening is going to be a delayed for a few months is ridiculous. Up to them, nobody is forcing them to go WHL or Wembley. I shall be at both, absolutely no problem.

Don, I like you mate, but throwing a strop and refusing to go to Wembley does seem very childish. Up to you though mate, if you feel that strong about it. I get you have an agenda against the Chairman, but you are supporting the club not the Chairman.

We can’t play in the new stadium that’s the point. The club needs to be HONEST about when we can and stop treating the fans so shabbily.

No wonder Levy didn’t buy any players, he was to embroiled in this clusterfack.

Sandy, might be childish but I couldn't careless mate. I am sick to death of Daniel Levy and his bulls**. I'm just glad more and more supporters are starting to see the light with him. He and Enic conveniently hiked our tickets to some of the most expensive in Europe, with promise we would be playing in our new stadium thus season and promise our transfer deals wouldn't be affected. They have lied to the fans in both and fans have every right to be angry.

Sandy it’s not about where we play is about being treated with complete disrespect by levy.

Workers knew last week that Liverpool game was off yet levy waits until the media gets hold before rushing to tell the fans.

Some ST holders have payed 2k for there tickets in the summer after being told it WILL be ready so they club should have been honest.

posted on 14/8/18

Solutions ? Not lie to the bloody supporters mate and hike prices up of tickets, knowing full well the stadium wouldn't be ready. A bit of honesty would be nice sandy mate.

Conveniently silent on the matter to. The person I feel sorry for most is Pochettino. Can't see him staying much longer if he isn't be backed and I don't blame him. Levy will force out the best manager we have had in years. Levy = pri**

I've heard the reason behind the delay was that in an attempt to cut corners and save money Spurs employed cowboy builders and one of them fitted all the seats facing the pitch.

posted on 14/8/18

Sandy I think the reason so many feel aggrieved is because of the dissent or lack of the full truth when purchasing their ST. Let’s not forget the club appears to have been willingly holding this info back until the very last moment. Simply with the strategy of selling as many premium ST’s as poss. They only finally held their hands up as to just how far the build was behind when a UAE supporters club outted them.

I would wager that even if they said it was a year behind before they purchased their tickets, they would have still brought them. Supporters do that. They moan and groan, but still turn up. I have been doing it for 60 years so I am in a pretty good place to judge.

Well I don`t think they deliberately lied, why would they? I get your upset Don, but come on are you seriously saying a few months delay is causing you this much grief.

You will be over it soon though mate, when Spurs string together lots of wins, that usually eases any grievances.

posted on 14/8/18

It's not about how much is left to do that has caused the delay but part of what has already been done in relation to safety failing.

This apparently has only recently one to light. Whether supporters now choose to believe this or not is another matter.

You say that but not everyone lives within 5 miles of the stadium to be able to go and see it in real time?

Most fans trust the club to issue to right statements, depicting the state of the stadium, and that's what Spurs did but their statement was that the first game would take place on the 15th Sept, then went on to sale tickets knowing clearly many fans would be attracted to being their at the unveiling?

Really sense doesn't come into it. Club should be more transparent.
With everything the club does
