My daughter left the Brownies aged 9 because she did not see why she should swear to ‘serve’ the queen.

Very proud of my son who went to a god bothering junior school and refused to collect his bible on leaving as he said he didn't believe in a god. Really funny having the extremely earnest deputy head telephone me at work about this. No one had ever refused a bible before.

I know how you feel Iwas. The other day I received an alt right meme on Facebook to share if I agreed. When I pointed out how ridiculous the meme was I was insulted by one of the neo-nazis. The insult was that I was educated. Michael Gove used the same "insult" against people who pointed out the economic problems associated with Brexit.

We have a government which is only kept in power by people who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old.

We have uberwealthy media owners, without a trace of irony, calling less wealthy but educated people a liberal elite.


We base our entire macro economic policy for the next 20 plus years on a marginal decision made on one day in 2016 and made by people who have little to no idea of basic economics.


Political incorrectness gone mad but then it always was.

Iwas! I am with you though I would merely moderate the monarchy. There are just too many getting a luxurious living from the citizenry of the UK. For historical reasons we should allow the closest family members to live and perform their civic functions and avoid us needing a President. (think Trump) The rest of them should earn their living and pay their home rent.

Above all I want to stay in the EU. I enjoy the travel and work freedom and the national security that EU membership brought. I like the European culture and its valuable history and the way nations have formed and evolved.

Finally, though I don't believe socialism cures anything I would like to see an alternative to the disastrous and socially retarding Conservative governments we have seen since WW2.

And so to football. COYR and Frank to pick our best team to defeat Millwall and set us off up the table to run down the red dogs. He must, by now, be realising his best team and format.

Slow train from Alfreton this morning. Been going over an hour and only just leaving Leicester.

My dad has been in London since Thursday. He’s taken my mum to London for a treat

My brother has his 40th next week so this is his lads birthday outing

Very important game I feel today... it’s full steam ahead or honeymoon period over...

It is 3 points same as a game against Rotherham Baz. Honeymoon ended with a major falling out last Saturday. Hopefully a reconciliation today.
