We have been slow starters every season since 2010/11 when we opened with 4 wins (followed by 4 defeats).

Not worried yet. I was worried when Pearson was in charge as I couldn't see a way out of our bad start.

Spart I’m trying to put last Sat down to Leed’s merits rather than our shortfalls. I just feel we need some momentum back before the wristslashers come out in force.

I always thought the start to our season could define if for FL..

I fully expected last Saturday's defeat. Maybe not 1-4 but Leeds looked so strong and together, whereas we we still strangers to each other. Frank is hopefully getting us to gel and I think today - a draw would be OK but a win would be great. COYR.

If we win today it won't exactly be a slow start. 7 from 4 games would see us nearish to the top and then our season continues from there.

Of course Forest posters have never ever mentioned Derby in their match threads Will. Are you regressing in to RFB?

It is of relevance to our thread as Forest often start well only to fade by November and be near the bottom by April. Out season usually has a different outcome.

7 points, 2 wins and a draw from 4 games would see us comfortably in the top half. Strett would have us 14 points from 4 games and mid table.

At my great-ish age and having just got back from travels abroad I am entitled to be a bit confused. I will concentrate harder from now on. I thought we had played 3.
