I don’t mean to have a pop at your country. I was in the US fir two weeks last year for my brother’s wedding and the people were lovely. I spent a week in Texas and a week in NY. Very polarised opinions on politics though!. I got quite a few compliments from women on my London accent as well

My sister in law is from a small town called Glen Rose btw. Not sure if you know it

I may be wrong on this, but to my knowledge the Native Americans did not believe in occupation of land. Ie the land the settlers occupied belonged to no one.
