This is infuriating, as a Spurs fan but also citizen in general. As others have said, just ring your agent and have a private lift home. Bet the agent would even have someone pick up the car in the morning.
However far he was over the limit it’s dangerous behaviour. The captain of Spurs should do better.
Perhaps this is the trigger for Kane to be named captain? Think he’s a better on-the-pitch leader anyway, although Poch and Lloris are very close by all accounts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's got to be stripped of the captaincy at the very least.

Slight bit of karma after a few of your fans whining about Salah.

How is this karma, steve you muppet?

Thing is Hounslow, he's not a boy. He's captain of his club and country. A husband and father.
I'm interested to know how far over the limit he was.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What does it matter?
If you’re over you’re over!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It does make a difference tbf.
If he had 2 and a half pints it is nowhere near as bad as if he was sloshed.
Similarly you are over the limit in Scotland now if you have over half a pint of beer. Someone in Scotland getting banned for drinking a pint is not comparable to someone drinking 8 pints and driving.
I really wouldn't be surprised if Poch strips him of the captaincy. What example is the club captain setting for the youth squad here?
Poch is the sort of Manager that will make an example of someone for this.
Very commendable that every Spurs fan to a man is absolutely condemning Lloris for drink driving, as they should be. Whereas nearly every Liverpool fans were backing up Mo Salah for being caught on a mobile fan whilst at the wheel of a car.
This is so pathetically unprofessional and should certainly cost him the captaincy.
Just in case the media/pundits haven't been loving our lack of transfers and stadium delay enough he's decided to give them something else to get their teeth into.
He better put in a performance on Monday night.
Harry can play in goal, if Lloris gets dropped. Llorente up front.

wouldn't drop him as vorm is awful, but would fine him heavily and warn him about his future conduct. depending on how the case progresses the captaincy might even get stripped tbh.
drink driving is one of the most stupid things you can do. so so dangerous and completely avoidable.

Seems a lot of people are trying to down play it by hoping he was only just over the limit.
Last week you wanted the book thrown at Salah and rightly so but you should surely want the same for Lloris. Yet you don’t mention him, you just bring up Liverpool fans.

Got to love the outrage. Can every person on this forum put their hand on their heart and say they've never driven after a couple of pints? Or handled stolen good? Or ever used their mobile while driving? Or taken an illegal drug? Or fiddled an insurance claim or expenses claim etc.? Or got into a fight on a night out? We all do it to some degree or other, some more than others, yet when a footballer does it everybody is quick to judge and gasp in horror.
If Hugo had 3 pints then thought "fack it I'm fine it's only ten minutes home, don't wanna leave the Lambo here" then I don't really have an issue with that, we've all done it and he's just been unlucky. Obviously if he was steaming drunk falling over then that's a bit different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes Ace, never done any of those things.
ive driven over the limit once, we probably all have... but even when i was doing it i was thinking im being so stupid here.... was in control of my actions so wasn't scared of crashing, was more worried about how it could seriously affect my life if i was caught.
would be interested to know how over the limit he was

I think it’s a little different when the blokes 30+ as well though Ace. Mistakes are more easily accepted in youth who don’t know better.
‘I only shot him in the shoulder your honour, its not like it was his chest’
Sad but useful opportunity to give the Captaincy to either Jan, Dier Or Kane. Never really thought of Hugo as a captain. Great Keeper but this is facking stupid for someone of his experience. Get the impression Poch runs a very tight ship.... Rarely if ever do you hear of Spurs players doing dumb stuff/ getting caught partying/ drunk etc. I think he'll pay with the captaincy

He'd better put on a performance in the dock. Maybe he could hire the solicitor that got Gammon Face off a speeding charge by claiming he had the two bob bits and was speeding due to a code brown.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha, its just so stupid though Ace.
As Spurs captain he should be a bit more aware of how this looks and as a very rich bloke I don't think ordering a taxi would have broke the bank.
Spot on ace.
About time they just called it a flat out no alcohol in your system.
Spurs have accounts with licenced black cabs, just a phone call away,or use their app, simples.
