I was at hillsborough for his debut,a great 4-3 win and jurgen scoring made it a great day.

The home game a few days later and he scores an absolutely blinding goal.

He was a top top player and a joy to watch in our shirt.

Hounslow, yes I remember that Sheffield Wednesday away game. Top class player.

Red, he nearly swallowed his tongue Klinsman

Bosnich was lucky he never got clumped that day.

He was bowling around his box goose stepping and his finger under his nose Adolf style.

He later phoned a radio show from the villa coach saying he was mimicking john Cleese doing his basil fawlty sketch.load of ballacks and back tracking from the Aussie mug.

Great player Don, remember his first home game, I was in the Paxton that evening, one of the few times I have ever watched a game from that end. I think against Everton, where he also scored.

He was a great player and a real coup when Sugar signed him for Spurs, it was a shame he wasn`t around longer but unfortunately at the time parts of our team were quite ordinary, so can`t really blame him for leaving when Bayern came knocking.

I was 18 at the time and remember the excitement as Ossie assembled that famous 5 attack of Klinsmann, Teddy, Dazza, Barmby and Dumitrescu.

Klinsmann’s best goal that season I think was Weds at home. In my liftetime if I was playing two up top it would be Kane and between Klinsmann and Lineker. I’d probably opt for Klinsmann.

1 Klinsmann
2 Berbatov
3 Sheringham
4 Lineker
5 Kane

Kane in my opinion is the best striker Spurs have had since Jimmy Greaves.

What a blast from the past that was!

I agree, Kane is our best ever striker in my opinion. Again I'm way to young to even comment on Jimmy Greaves, despite my grandad saying he was the best striker to ever live. Klinsman was to short lived to be considered our best striker, but he certainly is still a Spurs legend.

I know it's unpopular to say, but Berbatov is actually technically the best player, along with Ginola that I have ever seen at Spurs. Berbatov might of been a miserable git, but the things he did with the ball was just incredible. He was much better at Spurs than he was at United

Kane's so over rated now it's getting ridiculous. He's a good player, who's benefited hugely from playing in a team that creates a bucketload of chances. Sure, he's scored some great goals, and his contribution's usually good, but he's not in the same league as Berbatov in terms of technical ability. Stick a young jermaine defoe in the side spurs have had the last few years, and he'd probably have as many goals. People talk about Kane as if he's the greatest player of all time. He's just a good striker. One of the better ones in the league today for sure, but vastly over rated.

How is her over rated ? He bangs in 30+ goals every season in all all completions and has been top scored twice in the best league in the world and is still only 25. He hasn't even reached his football peak years yet (26) so please tell me how is he over rated ? He's a phenomen and yes he is technically brilliant. Ok I admit, he's not as technically class as Berbatov but neither is Lewadowski. Is he over rated now ? Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in Europe
