You are talking hypothetical. Im not, we scored a fair goal they didn't. For me thats needing the offical.
Ive said it might of been different if they got the decision correct. Sadly they didn't. I will say it again.. if we talk about what actually happened they needed the officals mistake.

And what you’re doing is flawed in the extreme.

Games change when goals are scored.

At 0-0, Wolves need a goal. At 1-0, they don’t. Therefore their approach changes.

It’s really not that difficult to understand.

What’s easy to understand is whenever Winston pops into a thread and starts his you are all wrong I’m right thing it’s time for a lesson in pedantry.

A favourable decision for them and a bad one against us is what decided the outcome of that game.

We drew whilst not playing well at all, missed chances hit the post, a similar result to Everton last year.

Blue mooning is correct Winston is talking out of his arris as usual for a reason no one understands.

Atkinson also 'missed' that foul on Aguero by Young in last seasons Etihad Derby.

At least we don’t feel the need to create Abus and have a manager saying you have many enemies you absolute fool of a poster.

Ignoring his own teams fans managers paranoia as usual.

Am I the only one that saw that Aguero got his heel clipped as well as getting a shove?

Wasn't a penalty for me Boris

The Silva one was nailed on. Not even interested in debating that one.

Seen plenty of comments that Wolves deserved a point

Not really sure how people arrive at that conclusion.

They played well enough but their goal should not have counted (offside and/or handball), City hit the woodwork 3 times, their keeper pulls off a worldie in the first half, City not given a nailed on penalty and several last ditch challenges by Wolves defenders.

City deserved to win that game, despite a poor performance by recent standards and on another day would have won 3 or 4 nil but it wasn't to be.

We move on to Newcastle.

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here and agree with Winston

If the officials correctly disallow the Wolves' goal from that point forward the outcome is open to conjecture

There is no way to predict the outcome from that point

However, it is equally correct to say that poor officiating did have an influence on the outcome based on the fact that Wolves' scored a goal that contributed to them earning a point.

Who knows what would have happened had their goal been disallowed but City failed to win because of bad luck and poor finishing.

Thanks.

Always agreed that it influenced the outcome, but not that it is fair to say Wolves 'needed the referee' to get a result.

Appreciate you commenting on this as you see it, rather than looking to see who commented and then choosing to reply accordingly, as some of the children do on here.
