Frank will have a choice to make soon. If Keogh and Tomori continue to do well and strike up a relationship will the manager risk messing that up to bring Davies back?

What would Rams fans do?

Keogh formed good partnerships with Bucko, Shackell, Pearce and Davies. In the case of Shackell and Pearce they eventually went wrong for some reason.

If only one of the three of Davies, Tomori or Keogh was good enough to play as a defensive midfielder in front of the two central defenders we would have a mean defence.

I’d drop Tomori for Davies. Why develop someone else’s player when we have our own players who are better

Should we drop Mount and Wilson as well then Griff?

We know Keogh plays well on the right of Davies to drop Keogh means testing Tomori on the right. Tomori will be a better player than Keogh and that could be this season. I’m tempted to do it.

I don't think FL is sentimental either Iwas, otherwise he'd have got his mate in at PP?

We don’t anyone better than Mount. Wilson? Well would you drop Bennett to bring Wilson back?

I’m happy for Bennett to get his shot but I think his performances have been ok not fantastic. He needs to score for me otherwise I’d drop him. He always does this. He shows well in the preseason and works hard when he gets his chance but as a goal scorer he has failed to deliver. So he may be one of our own but as I say he needs to score. He’s been given enough chances.

btw Is Wilson still injured?

posted on 27/8/18

Wilson has been injured but supposedly should be fit now.

I think Bennett justifies his inclusion. He is strong in possession, powerful and quick. He does need to chip in with goals like all wide players. Josefzoon has looked very good in his cameos but he should have scored on Saturday, his chance was probably easier than Bennett’s. Wilson missed a similar chance at Oldham. I think all of them will get the occasional goal and along with Lawrence they all give us something slightly different. All know they will have to play well to keep in the team and if Lampard rotates them a bit it won’t weaken the team. It’s a bit unfair to say Bennett has had lots of opportunities because they have been very sporadic over the last few seasons. Players need a consistent run in the team.

More terrible new for AJ. What a bad last few days for the lad. All our thoughts should be with him at this difficult time.

As regards the centre back conundrum. I think we all assumed it would be Tomori and Davies going forward. Keogh helped us reach that conclusion with some inept passing while trying to figure out what Lampard wanted him to do. I think he’s grasped that now and has looked back to his best recently and will be difficult to drop. Tomori is getting better by the game.
My opinion is let it ride.

Vidal, Martin O’Neill must be an idiot too.

Either that or there are only 4 centre halfs playing professional football, who are claiming Irish citizenship, to chose from.

Wow, I didn't realise the all conquering posts of Vidal were to be treated as the gospel.
I am indeed not worthy.
Keogh being called up for Ireland is like Kerry Katona being asked to cook for Jamie Oliver.

I wouldn’t want to conquer all, AJ. It didn’t do Ozymandias any good. But maybe you aren’t being entirely serious. It’s only opinion after all.

Autumn day?
There's still three weeks' of summer left!

Why the poor attendances this season, averaging 2000 fewer than Forest?

posted on 28/8/18

No real answer Strett but I know the railway station being shut and no trains is having an affect.

Anyway I’ve been told Frank Lampard is buying near you. The £1.4m mission at hallfueldgate

We have sold more season tickets than forest so a lot of it could be with the away followings or cheap match tickets at forest

Ted Speed's old house was the rumour, Griff. Opposite the pub.
Nice gaff but needs modernising, I've heard he's buying in Duffield!
Given MM's trigger finger, a 6 month rent would be my advice.

The seasons ticket sales are about the same I believe. Match day tickets are £28 at Forest and we limit away support to 2000.

So There are more Forest fans in the city Ground than home and away fans at Pride Park.
Interesting.
