Are longer collars coming back ?
I've got some of those in my wardrobe - remnants of the 70s
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope long hair doesn't make a comeback, I'd look like a cross between Bobby Charlton and Frank Worthington.

Enough! However tailoring is important because it demonstrates attention to detail. Which is quite important in a footy manager. Like going to the right ground and so on.
And, he was nice about Keogh's call-up
Mention of Keogh makes me realise I had almost forgotten about Curtis Davies. One goal conceded in the last four games. I wonder if he will bring the captain straight back into the team, and if so which one will make way. Both have done well (mainly) and made mistakes (occasionally).
Mention of Keogh is simply enough to ensure that there will be plenty of contributions on Sunday morning.......

Franks team is rolling on

Happier now Griff? I said it would start coming together!
It’s nice to be the team picking up these late wins, always seemed to go against us in the past. And Frank doesn’t even know his best team yet π
Tommo, with the exception of a few positions, we now have such strength in depth, and it's brilliant to see young players being given a proper chance and in the case of Bogle and bennet, excelling. Defence is a bit thin on cover but midfield and attack, barring a complete crisis, has several players that I would be more than confident in stepping in and not hampering the quality.

Agreed, still improving as the team starts to gel and the goals are coming from all over.
Old Firm derby today. Very exciting
Jozefzoon looks better every time I see him
Feels a bit different to the aftermath of Millwall when there were predictions that Lampard would be gone before Christmas. I hope that the more sceptical section of the fans choose to get completely behind the manager. He’s being quite astute in trying to engender a feeling of togetherness in his interviews and in his actions after matches. He’s also heaping praise on certain individuals, I think he does this intentionally to boost the confidence of those who he thinks will benefit from it most. I don’t think it has passed him by that the balance is not quite there in the middle of the park either. Very impressed so far.

Old MacGregor's v Fourway's. Always a classic
Vidal, I'm at at the point now where pre-season expectations have become totally unimportant. I can see that the cub is in safe hands with Frank & Jody and, having been at the very top of the game, they will be totally professional in their approach to players, media and fans.
Sure we'll lose a few, cos all the pieces are not in place yet, but I'm just sitting back and enjoying the ride. It's going to be a good season regardless.
Just need to keep key players fit and West Ham away from the doors and the sky's the limit.
Couldn’t agree more Ang. I’m not worried about the ‘ammers. Lampard will want to be a success at Derby.
Frank appears to be a trustworthy and honorable man and is a definite step up in class from our recent past. I've no worries til Chelsea come calling in a couple of years time
