A bit pointless if you ask me. When are you going to go back and ever look at them? Never understood that about games.
Fighting looks alright though.

To be fair photo mode is never anything I have bothered with, but a lot of people love it, adding this sort of editing just adds to the quality feel of the game.

Put it this way if Photo mode wasn't in it, people would be wanting to know why.

I suppose there’s folks that take photos and post it on Facebook etc.

They can battle with the folks that post their dinner on there for attention.

Meanwhile the world doesn’t give a Fack...

Baz there are many games that have been launched without photo mode, and it is one of the most asked for features.

I don't know what people do with it, but I can see a lot of people messing around with this feature in Spiderman.

There may be, but if I was developing a game, it would be at the bottom of my priorities.

Gimmick that doesn’t add to the real meat of a game.

Well I agree it's a gimmick, same as trophies, unlockables etc, but gamer's want it, So why not give it to them?

Not really impressed to be honest. Maybe because Im not a marvel fan.

You're being overly cynical/grumpy and honestly I've never seen anyone post a screenshot from a game on FB although Im sure those people exist. Personally I use photo mode in games now and then when I want a new background and some of the graphics these days are so fantastic looking it's easy to get lost in. It's a bonus and Spiderman is the type of game that will enable people to take/edit some really cool screenshots. The photo mode in Horizon and Arkham Knight amongst other was great, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Good input RJC, I could imagine some pretty impressive backgrounds being made. Adds a personal touch too.

They have had quite a big downgrade... Are u saying you are not aware of this or denying it? From what was originally shown anyway they are nowhere near as sharp. U are a massive Sony fan boy so u will defo be aware of puddle gate!!

Well ther has been there is no ifs and buts about it, and if they hadn't photo mode would be a better feature. It still looks good fun and when it drops in price I will pick it up.

However if other games such as the division got slaughtered for this then it should be pointed out for spiderman also.

what I do know is it will be the best looking Spiderman game to date, I'm sure Insomniac have made the best game they could.

It should be fairly obvious I'm pointing out that photo mode would have been a better feature if the game hadn't been downgraded. I also don't think it right to publish images and videos of 'gameplay' that is not a true reflection of the game being released as some (not all) will have preordered on the basis of how it looked which is not on. As I said developers should be pulled up for this sort of thing. Of course it wil be the best looking spiderman games ever it's four years since the last one is it not.. If it didn't look better then those making it are not fit for purpose.

Again your complete defense mode and missing the point.. U think its morally correct to advertise a game and take pre orders on a product that is not reflective of the game they are selling, they did say that what they were showing was 'gameplay'.

People want a top notch Spidey game, and I'm sure that is what Insomniac will deliver.

It's a downgrade in graphics pure and simple, they advertised differently. And yes people do buy games with graphics as a high priority and you ha e admitted to this in the past. Some People will have pre ordered that game on how it looked. These people were misold, granted they will be a small percentage, but that doesn't make it right.

I honestly don't care, there was the same noise when about Killzone 2. did it stop me playing it? NO

Was the game enjoyable YES, did it look great YES.

I have plenty of problems with MS and the xbox, I do not think they are good for gaming and there are plenty of reasons for that. a few different shadows in games is not one of them.
