Time wasting also, suppose he was setting out to frustrate Celtic but he was doing it in the first half FS

And still doing it after they went a goal down

I thought Eddy looked a bit out of sorts, understandable as he is just back from injury. Nice little take and pass for the goal though.

Eduoards touch was sublime. He offers more in attack from a link up perspective than moussa did. Dembele was just the better finisher.

I can't say I remember McGregor diving for a penalty though I can't remember being particularly upset at not getting one at any stage.

The only dives I remember in the game were Lafferty to get Brown booked and Christie after he took a heavy touch and lost the ball but won a free kick with his dive

I relaxed a few minutes into it when I saw that Rangers were sitting off us. It was no different to playing Hamilton.

I know it will sound like I’m saying it to annoy Gers fans, but they set up exactly like a ‘small minded’ team does when they come to play us.

Only thing that would have made it better yesterday was if they’d played some Phil Collins at the end of the game...

Will give him the benefit of the doubt due to returning from injury but as I said several times last season, I am yet to be convinced he can play that loan striker type of role. Last year his poorest games were when he was left to play that role. I am still convinced that role is not for him and he only excels when part of a 2 pronged attack but we shall see how he does now that Dembele has gone.

It was Christie diving into the box?
I'm not particularly au fait with your players.
I didn't think there was much in the game that was contentious tbh it was an old firm game ffs so there will be dig
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah it was Christie

Agree on the contentious side. You can tell the OF is back in peoples minds when both sets of fans are moaning about the ref

First half was horrendous from Rangers, did not like how we set up at all. All our success has come from pressing teams, maybe he thought try and conserve energy after the the Ufa game. I dunno but he got it wrong imo.

Second half i thought was pretty even. Celtic deserved the win on the balance of play but wouldn't have got it if the free kick had been given for the foul on jack, he took away his standing leg on the follow through so was a definite foul.

Also not keen on Lafferty and Morelos together. Lafferty out wide isn't the answer for us. Still think the big gap in quality is CM.

Ntcham is class, we've no one on his level.

Ejaria's legs looked shot against Celtic and he didn't get to grips with the tempo and Arfield has been our worst signing. He's no better than Greg Docherty on the evidence so far.

tavs a terrible defender and his crossing was pretty dire yesterday, tierney had him on toast.

goldson looks alright, but i go back to what i always said about kennedy, if your keeper is constantly your star man then you need to ask questions about the defence.

Was astounded when he subbed Jack off and kept Ejaria on. He should have tracked Ntcham for the goal as well.I was saying after 45mins, he looked like he had lead boots on.

I'm not a Candeias fan. Doesn't offer enough going forward for me, good work rate, defends well and can cross but hopeless trying to do anything else. I'd pick Kent over him every time personally.

Subs haven't been utilised well by Gerrard so far, he's going to need to fix that quickly.

McGregor's saves bar 1 from Ntcham up onto the bar i think were run of the mill that any keeper should be making.

The 1 from Griffiths that he should never have had to make because Christie dived. The Edouard one was easy and you'd be raging if any keeper didn't make it.

Tavernier is absoultely terrified of Tierney both in attack and defence, he bottles it to try and take him on in attack, never gets to the byeline always turns back and passes or crosses from deep and cannot get near him when defending.

Wouldn't disagree especially defending. Attacking wise i thought it more came down to how far he had to travel to take him on because of how deep we were, he had quite a bit of success doing it and whipping balls in second half when we pushed up

Imo he's a right winger.

When did that happen?! What success?!
