Not at all Whittaker_The £20m Man, but the shame game, and Celtic fan's inability to take defeat in an Old firm title decider, is the Full reason why we wont see it again.
I have many friends who are Celtic season ticket holders, and several of them admit that day, that the fan who fell, was throwing coins at Dallas and the rangers player taking the corner. So I'm sorry if you think I should have pity or sympathy for the lowest of the low.
Same way I've got no sympathy for the rangers fans who were jailed while causing trouble at Manchester, or any fan who causes trouble anyway! They reap what they sow!

I just fail to see how it could put Celtic in a bad light and why you're gettin your pantaloons in such a twist about it.
Paranoia in the extreme here.
Oh aye, also
SOOK IT UP!
Paranoia, the stock answer for holding a mirror up to beardom, If you don't like the reflection..Don't look.

It's a stock answer for idiots who come out with this sort of nonsense like you in this instance.
You still can't answer the question: how could it put Celtic fans in a bad light?

Hell of a coincidence that eh? That the 'several' Celtic fans you know just happpened to have a seat near this event to see what happened and why
If you don't like the reflection..Don't look.

Is that not what you are acusing Rangers of - holding arranged minutes silences to show up Celtic fans.
In effect holding the mirror up to your fans and their behaviours, n'est pas?

You maybe want to go out and get a job, son.
So it isnt legitimate because it has been 50 Years, so by this logic we only have seven more years of us hearing about Celtic winning the European cup.
Whittaker, you are a diddy, totally clambouring to back up someone who doesnt even deserve it.
I think thou protest too much.
World of difference between a clubs history and an unfortunate accident, but then you know that and you're just a twot.
And did it?
......
No, because despite your best and determined efforts, we are above biting at the glaringly obvious bait.
If you look at things like this as 'bait' you're makin yourself look even more like a paranoid idiot.
You are in denial or at the wind up, either way you dont have enough credibility for me to respect your opinion as a fellow fan, complaining because the club wanted to mark respects for people, only you could find fault with that and not only find fault, try to take the moral high ground on it because you had to stay quiet for 5 minutes in total.
Also there wasnt a moments silence it was a round of applause, something you should be accustomed to due to it being your clubs preffered mark of respect, which is fine by me, you wouldnt find me complaining that ive had to stay silent or applaud people who have had the sheer cheek to die.
Hector,
The word charade is imo unacceptable.
I take your other point - i dont believe there are any rules or regulations governing these things though.
Its all subjective.
I believe we should honour those who died for as long as the club is here.
Maybe move how we do it to a private service ay some point in the future.
It was before my time - but i do have (in my own very small way) an affinity with the Ibrox Disaster and Hillsborough.
I was at Parkhead the day of Hillsborough - the Gers were playing St J in the Scottish cup, i was a wee thirteen year old boy in the Celtic end and the crush of fans leaving that day really scared me, trying to squeeze through the green gates there.
The replay was the next werk and i was in the Jungle - that was terrifying.
My Dad was near stairway thirteen on the day of the Ibrox Disaster, he had not told his mum or dad he was going and he left early to avoid suspicion and missed the whole thing, he got away with it and never needed to admit he was there.
We should always remember those that died just innocently following a hobby.
Round of applause was invented for peope like Hector.
Just totally astounds me that there are Celtic fans who will stand by this muppet as he says things like this.
There isnt enough camaraderie in Scotland to make me feel loyal to a Rangers fan who would say something like that.
