Current Chelsea manager has them top of the league, but you wish to be like Liverpool?

The Klopp model is a more accurate description of their development, as it is the manager who builds the foundations for which the club grows. Even if they ran the club during this period in exactly the same way under a different manager, so much of what they have done 'right' could be perceived as 'how they have gone wrong'.
To me, the success lies in how well the manager fits in with the club in that current moment in time; and how well the board accommodate the manager.

That's a good point, "not being backed sufficiently" was the go to excuse the fans used when the wheels came off for Jose and Conte, infact both used it themselves. Klopp has built a title challenging side (after inheriting a midtable/Europa side) in 6 windows despite only really being backed in the market once out of them six windows.

Klopps spent 92m net in 32 months 5 windows 18.4m a spend a window or 30m a year, pretty sure the owners budget is way higher than that for the club.

Is this the same Klopp that publicly stated he'd rather give up a life in football than spend that kind of money on footballers!

Improve year on yeartop plan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would take a slow and steady improvement rather than the massive ups and down we seems to have been having the last few seasons
----------------------------------------------------------------------
many top six sides would give their high teeth for such success
1. Sign a manager with a strong playing style/identity- check
we've done that 3 times over, and won titles. Liverpool have won nothing yet.

But have any of those managers worn rayban glasses and a baseball cap?
