I’m fine now, just a bit dehydrated.
Oops that was supposed to be a reply to Scouse not Heb, maybe I’m still hungover.

Thought that would wake you up.
They electrified the Liverpool to Manchester line in 2015. The "new" electric rolling stock is from the Southern Region (they got them new 30 years ago).
Guess who got the brand new trains?
Carillion were half-way through building a new hospital in both Liverpool and Brum. Liverpool has never elected a Tory MP in living memory, (maybe longer)? The government has agreed to fund the completion of the hospital in Brum, but not the one in Liverpool - draw your own conclusions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You think Carillion was bad - and it was - but wait until the school MATs get into difficulties, make sure you stand back π±π±
----------------------------------------------------------------------
View.. one of my proudest achievements is refusing to allow the 2 schools I am chair of governors at to go down the MATs route.
It was always a bad idea doomed to failure. 3 of the local ones we could have joined are in special measures now.
So much pressure was being applied. We stood firm and are now thriving at both schools

To be honest we don't actually have any trains. I was just trying to show that I am a man of the people
Have you been over to Belgium, tommo ?
Beer fezzie ?

Hoping to persuade my son to take me over there for a weekend.
It's either Bruges, Bruxelles or, alternatively,Dublin
Like the team.
Looking forward to 'seeing' Wilson have another go.

Then I applaud you Peeder , only wish we had stood firm. Unfortunately some had no choice after being put into ‘special measures’ HAVING then to convert to academy status and then lo and behold they would be taken out of special measures.
Belgium is a banned word in our house today. I have two return flights booked with Brussels Airlines which I had to change yesterday. The website wouln't let me do it so I had to 'phone customer disservice.
After 1.5+ hours on the blower to what sounded like a hopeless 16 year old, I get my email confirmation this morning to find she's put me on the wrong flights!
Peeder, any chance of the "Prediction League Academy" being put into special measures?
<tumbleweed>
Come on, let"s be 'avin you !
Good mornin you horrible lot
