Just to add, I think we have a good squad of players this season, being let down by the manager,some players play well and are rested,some are just awful and play week in week out. Just play your best eleven .

Even at ten men , I would have taken a Grounds off
& kept Oztumer on.

Reckon the wheater/hobbs combo is the way to go. Forget Wilson he's a pudding. Plenty of warnings from the Sunderland fans. Good save by Alnwick and a wheater shot all that happened in the 2nd half. Fair result and important not to lose to a team below you.

It is impossible for us to know why certain players are played. We do not know the fitness of each individual, the tactics behind why certain players are picked etc. All you have is a subjective opinion of how good each individual is. And it certainly does not do well to just pick the teamsheet based on how good each individual theoretically is.

If Parky wasn't up to the job, we wouldn't still be in the Championship.

With a slightly more attacking Parky we would now be on at least 15 points joint, 7th instead of 15th it’s just a shame he doesn’t try harder sometimes to go for three points instead of one .two strikers at home against a team at the bottom or without confidence ie Ipswich today they were there for the taking, but he didn’t grab the mantel , ok a player gets sent off it’s a different thing,but he started the match a little defensive, if we are to get the crowds back he has to take that gamble.
