Don't like the curse of Manager of the Month so I'm saying Rovers 3 Fleetwood 1; Butler first goal, crowd 7878.

Well folks Marquis has missed 3 chances he'd normally put away in his sleep and Joe Wright free header 6 yards out wide too. Should be 4-3 to us. Our defending is poor and yet again when Butlers up against a good striker he's bang average. Hold onto your hats there's more goals to come!

Well, I've never walked out of any game when physically there, but today I switched my computer off at half time! Talk about a game to forget for all of them, especially Marquis. Maybe manager-of-the-month and player-of-the month are real curses.

Maybe we should all just stick to predicting the crowd. Plan B needed?

We were the more creative side making, arguably, five clear chances in the first half which we couldn't put away. They scored four times from, again arguably, four defensive errors. No idea who was to blame for the first. Marosi raced out to the edge of the area and went down in a heap with our defender and their forward. We thought it was a free kick, but the ref decided that one of our players had fouled inside the area and Ched "He's no gentleman" Evans put the kick away, despite Marosi getting a hand to it. The second goal was a close in, unchallenged, header from a corner scored by what looked to be the shortest player on the pitch. Goal three was another unchallenged header from another corner. The final goal at the start of the second half went in when Wright was the last man trying to prise the ball off the toes of an oncoming attacker and fell over. Comedy gold. Copps got the MoM but, for me, Kane was different class. He played a couple of blistering through balls early on and worked his socks off throughout. Bad day at the office for us, Peterbrough and Portsmouth. I wonder what odds you could have got on the top three all losing at home and failing to score?

Fleetwood are garbage. We were poor last week and still battered them.

Snapski: what an admission! You "were poor..." ?

How did you play when you couldn't beat Plymouth and Walsall at Oakwell? We have played them too, away, but perhaps you didn't see the results.

We were decent for 30 mins v Plymouth. They should have won. Wanna talk about us v Peterborough today?

If we wanted to talk about the dingles we'd go on that board but we don't 🙄

Freak result yesterday could have easily finished 4-4. Marquis very apologetic at the end as he new by his standards he should have scored at least twice but I'm not slating him he just had an off day for once. The team seriously need to work on set pieces. Something we've not managed to get right for years! Hopefully these past 2 games where we haven't taken our chances gets put right next Tuesday and Saturday and Wenger back to winning ways.

The Fleetwood game was very strange.
We were three down at half time but really should have been 3-3.
Perhaps even 4-3 up.
Three glaring misses, two by JM and the Wright header.
All three opportunities came at crucial times and would have change the whole match situation.
Basically Fleetwood had three chances in the first half and took them all while we missed ours.
Believe it or not, at half time I wasn’t too despondent because I thought that if we could score one before the hour mark then we could go on and get something from the match.
The Wright mistake leading to the fourth goal put paid to that though and we might as well have all gone home then because the last forty minutes were pretty poor.
We had played really well in the first half.
There were quite a few unusually big home defeats throughout all four divisions at the weekend, including Peterbough also going down 4-0 and Portsmouth losing to lowly Gillingham.
I had Kane down as my MotM.
Wilks looked very lively in the first half hour and probably would have been in on goal just afte4 their pen before being pulled back by Husband.
For me it was worthy of a red card and again was another potentially match changing situation.
I also wonder why their defender wasn’t even booked for the assault from behind on Marquis late in the game.
The ref allowed Fleetwood to get away with countless off the ball stuff and was in no way strong enough to deal with their constant niggly fouling.
I am not too concerned about the manner of this defeat as I truly believe it to be a fluke result.
