The bubble has burst and Sandwell Town will end up struggling to survive in the Championship. As often happens, an unknown quantity they do well at first as did ‘ull last season and many others.Their style and methods are then found out and down the league they will plummet.

The Baggiemen may scrape survival this season but next, they will be anchored in the bottom three awaiting their relegation to a level they really belong.

I personally don’t get to caught up in a defeat like that. Likewise I don’t get overly enthusiastic at putting 7 past QPR. This league is crazy.

Here’s a stat.

If we win on Saturday and results go our way, we will be top.
If we lose on Saturday and results go against us, we could be 9th.

I saw that QPR are 14th and 6 points off top! Very strange

I understand that all but one of the WBA wins have been against teams that are in the bottom half of the league table.

If they start winning against teams at the top, then they could be considered contenders for a top six finish.

Seems I was right in my assessment several weeks ago. The budgies certainly not up to performing against sides in the top half of the table...

Looking on the bright side I had a nice little treble last night with Leeds, Forest, and Derby all to win. Got my stake back 12-fold. (Didn't bother with doubles - just the roll-up.)
