I can see Morata getting in behind that United defence. Obviously he’ll feck up in front of goal though.

People speak as if we are good on the counter but we really aren't.
1. We are often too deep so don't get up the pitch quick enough. With little movement, Pogba either dwells or somebody makes a negative pass and it gives the oppoation time to regroup. We play with NO RISK.
2. Our fast players, Martial and Rashford are often guilty of poor and indecesive play. Usually one will overrun it, play a poor pass or lose it quickly.
3. We just aren't a well coached or balanced side that any team with any tactical nous can combat and overcome.
We won't be ending our hoodoo at Stamford Bridge this Sat I feel.

I don’t think there will be any space from him to get in behind. And as most of our possession is likely to be played in front of United, Giroud will be the focal point for our forwards and midfielders to play off.

Nah I think Morata's movement will get him into good goal scoring positions. His problem is putting them away. Giroud will most likely stand still in one place trying to link up play with our attackers but with United packing the midfield I think he'll struggle to get involved.
Tbh it wouldn't surprise me if Jose has a go, nothing to lose. Our defence is there for the taking.

He's spoiled for choice when it comes to players who can attack Alonso's space, problem is Hazard gains more space and his defense is even worse. Not something he'd do unless he felt desperate.

Would not be suprised if utd came out the blocks firing, hoping to get an early goal, it's how jose use to approach games for inter.

I hope we do, which is why I know we won't
Sideshow was right. Morata was awful even though he got a lot of space.
