Can't wait until we field a side that doesn't include Azpi Alonso & willian
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We must be close
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Emerson will be back in the side once fit again sheriff. I worry about azpi as he’s captain but Reece will have to start soon, maybe after this weeks cl games he will play next pl game?

As for Willian’s workrate well there’s a reason the 10 or so people I drink with at half time wanted him hauled off! Guys so lazy
---------------------------------------------------------
and what is the reason why so many ex Chelsea players continue to rate him and why previous and current Chelsea managers continue to play and praise him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What ex Chelsea players? And because they are still a society, you will rarely find players slagging each other off, and Willian is evidently(or was) a talented player and a big name. But his workrate, like a lot of talented Brazilians, has dissapeared into his 30s. This isn’t like I’m the only one saying it.
I would hope that once Pulisic is up to speed and Cho is fit Willian and Pedro will be phased out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick just accept that yours view on Willian are not set in stone and that ten blokes in a pub does not make it so
I have. Likewise you should accept that’s yours are not either. As 99% of the people I know agree that he’s not good enough anymore and lazy.
These aren’t 10 guys in a pub, this is the general feeling amongst going fans. But again everyone is entitled to their opinion. I just want the best for our team.

I do, hence I don't attempt to justify it with comments like all my mates agree with me.
Don't you find it puzzling that a manager who keeps saying he picks the players who work the hardest and perform the best each day in training as well as on match day would select a lazy player?
Injuries have definitely played a part imo. I’m not justifying anything. Willian seems to do no wrong to you, I’m just saying how that isn’t the opinion of most Chelsea fans I know.
I’m expecting frank to work it out in regards to Willian. The previous managers did, 26, 20 and 15 starts in the pl the last 3 seasons. Like I’m hoping he will phase out a few others too. He’s already done it with Emerson over alonso.

If you read my comments above speaking with Brummie about Willian and on other threads you will see i think he does plenty wrong, and that i also think we should sell him in the summer. The only thing that don't see myself about him is that he is lazy and I honestly don't think a lazy player gets selected or even survives at Chelsea under Lampard.
Fair enough, I think we both agree he's been a solid to good player for us over the years. Just don't think we agree on work ethic. Which is fine. I'm glad he got his goal, even if it was deflected, as he got a bit of abuse down my end, especially after ANOTHER free kick that didn't beat the first man.
One aspect of his game that's gone missing, he use to be mustard at free kicks, the difference between him and mounts deliveries is chalk and cheese. But if he IS going to play a part this year, then 10 goals or so would be a good boost for the team.
Afternoon y'all. Why is it these days that every time you post on the Haven someone tries to start an argument over nothing ?
lol god knows mate, boys will be boys. Most of them are alright, let down by a bad few.
How you doing? Im looking forward to watching two sh!t teams kick eachother tongiht
Anyway Willian. Not sure what to make of him these days. Don't see him as part of our future. Definitely won't be here next season. Doesn't score enough goals for an attacker. Not even close. And for a player with his outstanding close control it's a major flaw in his game.
Hopefully Hudson-Odoi is phased in and starts playing a lot more so that he can provide us other the goals that Willian doesn't.
It wasn't like that before though was it Nick. Used to be great fun.
Yeah all good Nick, will try and watch tonight if I'm able to.

yeah use to get on with everyone on there other than probably NPE, then people started putting little jibes into eachother for some reason. A shame as we're all chelsea, should be able to talk and discuss things that we want best for the club.
there was comments a few weeks ago where someone was saying "yeah I seen the chinwag blablabla" as if we were knocking em on there which isn't the case. Just seems everyone is pent up and on edge on there.
i said to my dopey utd mates when they beat us 4-0 we would finish above them, tonight could answer even more questions whether as i'd be correct or not. If arsenal beat them at old trafford their fall from grace would be complete
Yeah looks like Ole is hanging on to his job. They'll probably try to bring in Poch but they'll have to wait until next summer. Or maybe they might even go for Brendan. Certainly doing very well at Leicester.
We should finish above them though. They're a mess at the moment. We're a mess as well with the transfer ban etc but at least we have a plan and some fantastic young players to come through. They don't.
Yeah I don't think we're a mess at all mate, infact I am excited and once our team is back to full health we will go on a run.
Kepa
RJ Rudi Tomori Emerson
Kante Jorgino
Mount RLC Cho
Tammy
perfect blend of experience in rudi, emerson, kante, jorgino and youth.
Well a mess in terms of losing our best player and the transfer ban. Not a mess on the pitch, I can't remember being this excited about watching us play and seeing all these young players come through.
The future is rosey if we keep doing exactly what we're doing now and make sure these young players are the future of the club.

Exactly the team I want to see as well.
Mount, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi and Tammy in an attacking four will tear teams apart.
