I think zouma has been class last 5 games.
But today shows why we need rudiger back, for a pro footballer to need to keep looking down a)at the ball and b) to adjust his feet, is ridiculous.,


Thoughts?

It is Zouma's weakness without a doubt, but if it is only teams of the ilk of city that expose him, its not so bad. He defended well today though, much better than Tomori who continues to live a charmed life with his errors.

Overall, I think this Chelsea team, in both games agst Liverpool and today agst City have performed well above the level that should be expected and that bodes well.

We do need to start winning games agst the likes of United, Spurs and Arsenal now though, that shd be our first step before thinking about City and Liverpool

Mate I’m in awe. I mean I’ve been with some stunners in my time but she’s the total package

I think/hope that this team will learn a lot from games like this. That's what this season is all about in many ways. We're obviously not genuine title contenders yet but hopefully we're well on our way for next season and beyond.

What happened?

Flamenco overturned a one goal defecit in the last few minutes after doing nothing most the game, followed by two sent off in injury time!

So a shame about the result once we started so well but the weekend could have been worse, both gooners and utd dropping points. A shame west ham were so pitiful

Performances vs the top 6 have on the whole been good but the errors made have been costly.

Losses to Liverpool, United and now City.

We'll need to sort this out as it could be important for top 4.

Can see a couple of outgoings in January - Giroud being the most certain to leave. Pedro may last till the end of the season but could possibly see him go.

Areas to improve the squad - LB, RW and maybe CB and GK

Agree TJ mate in regards to errors costing us. Alonso was imo(dont want to dig him out) but the main culprit (penalty against utd, free kicks against liverpool and ajax I believe).

Don't even know if pedro is fit but he looks on his way out regardless.

Anyone know the catchment area for this uber news? I live in greater london...

Calm your tlts. Most didn't expect to even play will this season. Only to see/hope for gradual improvement. Most didn't see us having a chance of to 4. This team is a season away from greatness. Gotta take these lessons this season to build character and weed out the ones who can't make it.

I'm just desperate for that famous victory that really announces Lamps and this team

The closest we've had is Ajax but we could have had a win against Pool for sure and christ we'd be on the moon if we did

Seriously, I was flying high just after that performance. Fk the result. Showing ourselves capable in all areas including management was the major statement I wanted. The wins against top teams will come soon enough.
